Lamberts® Iron 14mg contains iron in the form of ferrous citrate. The choice of citrate iron was made because the citrate salt of iron has increased solubility and, as a result, is characterized by higher absorption and bioavailability. Additionally, it is accompanied by a lower likelihood of gastrointestinal disturbances (such as constipation) compared to ferrous sulfate, which is the form used in the majority of iron supplements.
The avoidance of constipation is extremely important as the replenishment of depleted iron stores may take several months, which requires patient compliance with medical instructions. Like all Lamberts® supplements, Iron 14mg is manufactured in the United Kingdom according to strict Pharmaceutical GMP standards.

Nutritional information PER TABLET:

For anyone who needs to take iron on a permanent basis, it is a very good supplement as it does not create any issues and you see improvement (my doctor recommended taking 2 pills on difficult days).
