I ended up with this after a lot of searching and I am absolutely satisfied with my choice. My criteria were a ratcheting screwdriver, regular size (not short), many bits (8+) with storage space in the body of the screwdriver for all the bits (so I don't have to carry extra bits), good quality/function compared to the competition, and a max price of €40.

The only other option I found available in Europe was the Milwaukee, which does not have good reviews. Just for reference, in America there is the MegaPro (also sold in Europe at an outrageous price that is not worth it) and within Germany only the Bauhaus, which is essentially the MegaPro under another name. With the criteria I mentioned above, there are no other branded options. If you have a higher budget (€80+), check out the PB Swiss Tools PB 6510 R-100 and the Linus screwdriver (LTT Screwdriver). Both are top quality, but only if you can find them and for as long as you can find them. If you don't care about the other criteria (ratchet or bits in the body), there are many options out there.

Now let's get to the review. Let's start with a bit of information about the manufacturer HOTO (home tools). The old model was a collaboration between Xiaomi and Wiha. Together they also released the Xiaomi precision screwdriver set. Somewhere along the way, HOTO was created as a Xiaomi subsidiary, which made the tools with Wiha's know-how. At some point, Wiha disappeared from the promotional material, I don't know if they still have interests in HOTO. So Xiaomi/HOTO didn't just appear out of nowhere and release questionable quality screwdrivers, there is a lot of Wiha expertise behind them.

Positives:
- 16 bits, the standout positive. Even the Allen key I needed recently, it had the size I wanted. When I have it with me, I feel like I don't need any other screwdrivers. I don't need to have a toolbox or a screwdriver case with me. You put it in your pocket and you're ready, it solves a lot of my headaches. There are also more specialized tools, you can't avoid everything... But it covers a huge range and almost all cases.
- Respectable to good ratchet, but it didn't excite me. It needs to find a bit of resistance to work, I would have liked less. On screws that turn freely, it won't work. Generally, it does a lot of work tightening/loosening, but in other cases, it won't do anything if the screw turns easily by hand, for example. It will excel on old screws or wall plugs that are a bit stuck.
- Nice feel of the handle material. Excellent feel on the skin and a good grip that doesn't slip. Nothing like the classic "bone" screwdrivers, you want to hold it. I don't know if it will last over time, that's why I keep the handle in the bag so the sun and dust don't damage it when it's sitting around.
- Feels sturdy. It's a bit "hollow" if you remove the bit holder from the back, but overall it feels sturdy. I'm not afraid something will break like with some cheap tools, and so far it's okay.
- The long part fits in many places, the thickness doesn't often get in the way. I've used others with bits, this is one of the least annoying in the category.
- Bit quality "S2 alloy steel". I've seen that good brands use the same for bits, I don't know more than that.
- It's beautiful, all black. If you have it at home and forget to put it back in its place, it won't bother much. It's not an eyesore like ALL the others.
- It can also be short. The long part comes off and you use it as a short one with bits. I only use it this way when there is a lack of space. I don't think it's good as a permanently short one (details in the negatives), but it's a welcome extra.
- Magnetic. In the comparisons I saw, it's one of the strongest magnets in a screwdriver with bits... I mention this because someone complained that the magnet isn't strong enough. Yes, it's not the strongest I've seen, but it does the job. If you want a stronger magnet, maybe you should forget about screwdrivers with bits in general, that's not their strong point.

Negatives:
- Shape and size are not ideal. I would understand if there was a space issue, but they could have easily made it thinner at the tip at least, the mechanism inside doesn't get in the way. Especially in terms of size, it's very thick at the handle and its shape doesn't help to hide it a bit. At first, it seemed strange to me, but practically I don't have a particular problem. I would like it to be more ergonomic, mainly for prolonged use.
- The long removable piece wobbles a bit. In use, it never bothered me, to be honest, but if it didn't come out, this issue wouldn't exist. As a short one, it's quite thick and rarely useful, so they could have avoided it if they made it one-piece.
- Classic bits from elsewhere are hard to use, as someone else also wrote. The problem is that they go in deeper and are hard to remove. They could have easily avoided this issue... If you want to use conventional bits, get an adapter and the problem is solved. But if you want to store conventional bits in the base, you'll basically lose slots because you'll have a single-sided instead of a double-sided bit. There's also the issue of spare parts, the whole screwdriver costs as much as a set of branded spares anyway... Otherwise, maybe the double-sided Wiha bits will work. It's an artificial issue that shouldn't exist.
- It gets marks easily on the handle, and the long piece definitely gets marks easily too because it's black. Okay, it's a tool, it will get marks, but this one gets them more easily.
- Quite heavy, but I don't think you can find anything lighter in the category. At worst, you can remove the piece that holds the bits and it's much lighter. Personally, I prefer it with the piece inside, it has a better balance.

So, my conclusion. Very VFM screwdriver and there's nothing better in its category up to 80+ euros, where you go to high-end brands. Many bits that will cover almost every situation in the size of a thick screwdriver, beautiful, works well, has a ratchet. It's ideal for a small student house toolbox, a vacation home, to have forgotten in the car for when you need it, or just to have in a bag. I'm very satisfied and I easily recommend it. If you don't want a ratchet or don't mind a case with bits, you have more options.

EDIT 1/2026: From the motorcycle, to blender, chairs, and PC, I use it. Especially with the motorcycle, which needs 4 screwdrivers to reach the carburetor by removing the seat, many plastics, and the tank, it worked perfectly. It's the most essential tool I own, I always grab this first and then see if I need anything extra. With a little care, it's still in excellent condition even though I've used it a lot. Bits are still perfect, no marks, the color is perfect, I didn't expect that. In the end, none of the negatives I wrote above bother me.
