In water supply installations, the water that circulates continuously heats up and cools down, leading to its continuous expansion and contraction. When the water expands, its volume in liters increases, and the extra liters, if not stored, will increase the pressure to dangerous levels. At this point, the expansion tank intervenes, responsible for storing the extra liters created after expansion.
