    the sound is perfect. if you have a full face helmet it's like putting a studio inside your helmet. you can hear external sounds just fine, it doesn't distract you. the only problem I would say is the strange connection with my other intercom, it's a bit complicated and the buttons are a bit hard to press

    I had been using AirPods for a long time inside my helmet and I had no complaints except that it created pressure points on my skull during long use. So, as soon as I decided to get a communication system, my daily life changed completely. Hassle-free calls with very good quality for both, music very good and relatively loud to the point that I didn't turn it up above 40-50% (an important detail I quickly realized is that the helmet's speaker slots are not "compatible" with all heads, something I experimented with a bit to understand exactly where my ears fall in the helmet and to place them right in front of them, which changed my experience for the better since at first I was very disappointed with their volume and clarity.     I bought this specific Cardo system and not the Freecom 2X mainly because it offers voice control (e.g. Hey Cardo music off).
    From my experience, voice commands do not always work.
    My helmet is an AGV AX9.
    The application is excellent.
    Inside the box, there is also a set for installation with double-sided tape, so it is difficult to find a helmet that is not easy to install.
    The sound quality is amazing.
    The microphone quality is also good.
    The operation takes a little time to learn the buttons and use it without the application.
    The application allows you to do anything without needing to learn the buttons.
    It suits everyone's needs.
    The device charges with USB-C.
    Updates are done through the application without needing to connect the device to a PC.
