If it works as it should, it would be the perfect product.
But unfortunately, until I found the problem with the app that kept crashing, it really drove me crazy.

POSITIVES.
It is very well made and of good quality; it comes with 8 stickers which, surprisingly, I expected to peel off, but no, they are very stable.
Its temperature reading is immediate, and compared to another electronic thermometer, it has a deviation of 0.1 difference.
When the app works, you can see all the temperatures of the baby on the dashboard.

THE BIG NEGATIVE
Initially, I saw comments on the Play Store from 2023 that the app crashes, freezes, and hangs. We are in 2025, and there is still a problem, so they haven't done anything.
The big issue is that it crashes and freezes.
When it reaches the temperature we have registered, it tries to send a notification, and that's when the app crashes, and it won't open at all.
Turn off the temperature notification, and it works perfectly; thus, the notification will be useless, but fortunately, the thermometer will still work as the app will function without disconnections.

Some comments said that when the child has a fever, the app crashes, etc. I tested the notification temperatures and found the problem.
Since I turned off the notifications, I haven't had any app freezes or crashes, and it won't open at all.

Let me start by saying that all the reviews, whether negative or positive, are correct. And let me explain... The thermometer is good and accurate, but it is definitely not the most convenient for those who are not familiar with it and for the impatient. This is due to the way it is connected and the mobile application.

More specifically:

1. Starting with the adhesive tapes, in my case, they stuck well after I made sure to clean the baby's armpit area with a little alcohol. It stays stuck for more than a whole day, even though the baby moves, sweats, etc. At first, she was uncomfortable when we placed it on her and tried to remove it, and she cried. But I recommend wearing a shirt on top of it, hugging her while keeping the thermometer in contact with the skin until she forgets about it. Also, do not place it directly in the armpit lock, but a little lower where the skin is flat. This is for two reasons: It doesn't crack/detach with movement, and when she moves her arms, it doesn't "pull" her, so she forgets about its presence. As for the cost of the adhesives, they are indeed unreasonably expensive. However, I have ordered hypoallergenic double-sided adhesive tape (search for "flash tape for clothes") that is used for clothes and usually for holding women's bras in low-cut clothing. I haven't tested it yet though.

2. Let's move on to the connection issues that have troubled many speakers. I want to clarify that the patch must be paired via Bluetooth ONLY with one device. I will tell you later about monitoring with additional devices. So, we pair it via Bluetooth with only one mobile or tablet. From there, make sure the charging box of the fever trap, which is also the receiver, is in the same room as the baby. After that, the mobile/tablet with which we have paired must be within Bluetooth range. In our case, it reaches from the bedroom to the baby's room, about 7 meters with 2 walls in between. In summary, you should know that the connection is made as follows: the thermometer sends data to the charging box, and the charging box forwards the data to the paired mobile/tablet. So, make sure all these are at reasonable distances; otherwise, there will be disconnections.

3. Let's move on to how we connect additional mobiles/tablets so that both the dad, mom, grandma, and everyone can see the temperature on their mobile, even from their workplace or another building, etc. So, we download the app on our devices and connect with the SAME account that we use on the initial tablet (which is connected via Bluetooth). This is actually a flaw of the device because you cannot share the thermometer data with other accounts through invite/share. It is truly inexplicable in 2023. After we have connected to our account from the new mobile device, we wait a bit until it displays the settings we have set on the initial tablet/mobile. Once that is done, we click on the baby's icon and activate the "remote monitoring" option. CAUTION: Do not pair the thermometer with the new mobile device/tablet again. Simply select remote monitoring. We repeat the process on as many devices as we want, and thus the initial tablet/mobile that is paired forwards temperature information via the internet to all remote devices.

4. Here comes the second flaw of the application. Unfortunately, on devices that are connected remotely, if we close the application and reopen it, in 90% of cases it will not show any temperature indication. To restore the indication, we need to click once on the baby icon and press the "disconnect remote connection" button, and then click the baby icon again and press "start remote connection". It's like restarting a computer. This way, the temperature indication reappears. It's annoying, to be honest, and I really can't understand why it hasn't been fixed for so long. It's not about disconnecting the device, but rather a glitch in the application. All of this assuming that the initial tablet/mobile connected via Bluetooth is within close range of the child to transmit the data to the other remote devices.

5. Finally, some notes. The thermometer is very accurate, as I have tested it with traditional thermometers. However, as the instructions say, after placing it under the armpit, it takes about ten minutes to warm up and show accurate temperatures. From there, it follows the child's temperature accurately. Also, make sure your mobile phones and all devices exclude the fever trap application from energy saving mode or "do not disturb mode". Surely, you don't want your mobile/tablet to close the application for energy saving while you're peacefully sleeping, hoping for a fever alert that never comes.

These are just a few things I hope to help potential buyers as well as current owners. It's definitely a very helpful product, but it's certainly not the most user-friendly for people who are not very familiar with technology. So, have a good night's sleep with less anxiety, and hopefully, a future thermometer will solve these issues before our children go... go to university :)

Update: I'm coming back as I said about the issue of adhesive tapes. Given that I find the official tapes unreasonably expensive, I tried hypoallergenic double-sided clothing tape, specifically the one below:

They didn't cause any irritation to our baby after 2 days of continuous application, and they stick just as well if not better. However, be careful not to cover the metal temperature sensor (the one that protrudes on the patch) when applying the tape. The other two smaller contacts are for charging, so it doesn't bother you to cover them as long as the patch is under the armpit. So, with 10 euros, you get 3 meters of adhesive tape instead of 20 euros for just 8 adhesive patches of the official brand. Choose and take your pick.

Positive experience with this thermometer and I will explain in detail. I have had it for 3 years since it was a fever scout, which, however, had caused me many problems with disconnections, not notifying when there was a fever, nor in the disconnection. Then it was replaced with a new fever trap which works PERFECTLY. They also told me from the company about the first fever scout application that there was an issue with some devices (Samsung s9). We never had any issues with the iPhone. I always have the transmitter close to the child as well as an iPad that is within Bluetooth range with the transmitter. I see the temperature data on the iPhone without any issues. Since the replacement, it is constantly connected, even if it disconnects, it notifies me and reconnects on its own without losing the measurement. It is accurate, and we are now carefree when wearing it. It needs daily changing of the adhesive. I never had an issue with the adhesive coming off during the day, and that's why I always change it at night after bathing so that it is ready on clean skin for the whole night. The service and technician are excellent. If someone had any problems, they should contact the technician who always had the willingness to find a solution.

I bought the EXCELLENT Fever Trap from Skroutz because my friend recommended it and she is very satisfied. Generally, I don't write reviews, but since I see various comments, let's clarify things a bit. The thermometer has impeccable accuracy, and I compared it to a mercury one before using it on my child. Now, regarding the disconnections and usage, you should be somewhat familiar with technology to use it and understand basic things. The base should be near the child's bed, and you should check the temperature at a relatively close distance. As for the application that some mention, it works fine for me, but if you have an older mobile phone, it's good to do an update. If the patches come off, as I read from someone, because when there is a fever, we sweat, and babies generally sweat, before placement, as indicated in the instructions, you should clean the area with alcohol. And overall, because I was interested in knowing if I can send my child to school and monitor her fever, you should know that the company is very helpful, so if you have any questions, call them.
