The Er Lac MetalShield Primer - Substrate for Metal Surfaces is an alkyd-based primer for varnish paints.
- Characteristics: Known for its long-lasting durability. Contains no lead or chromates.
- Easy to apply and dries quickly.
- High coverage and ensures excellent adhesion.
- Durable over time and easy to sand.
Applications: Suitable for metal surfaces such as railings, doors, windows, canopies, metal buildings, ironworks, machinery, and car bodies.
- Yield: 19 square meters per liter per coat. 2 coats are required.
- Application: Brush, roller,air spray gun, airless spray gun.
- Thinning: 10% v/v with White Spirit or 15% v/v with X-22.
- Drying time: Touch dry: 1 - 2 hours.
- Re-coating time: 3 - 4 hours.
