Description

The DFRobot heart rate sensor is used to measure the electrical activity of the heart. This electrical activity can be visualized as ECG and produced as an analog indication. An ECG signal can be extremely noisy, which is why an AD8232 chip has been added to generate a clean signal from the PR and QT Intervals. By using the "Serial Plotter" feature of the Arduino IDE, you can also display the ECG visualization on a computer!

To facilitate the use of this sensor, a Gravity Interface has been adapted for plug&play connection. The IO expansion shield is the best option for this device. The sensor can operate at 3.3V, making it compatible with Raspberry Pi, Intel Edison, Joule, and Curie.
