External automatic antenna tuner by Yaesu FC-40 with 200 memories. The FC-40 is an external automatic antenna tuner with controlled impedance, designed to enable transmission across all amateur bands with various Yaesu transceivers, such as the FT-950, FT-450, FT-897, and FT-857.
The FC-40 uses control circuits within the transceiver, allowing the operator to monitor and control the operation of the FC-40, which is placed near the antenna feedpoint. It is fully waterproof and can be installed outdoors in exposed locations with up to 100 Watts of output power.
The FC-40 is designed for operation in 7 ~ 54 MHz when used with an 8' whip such as the YAESU YA-007 or in 1.8 ~ 54 MHz when used with random length wire greater than 66'. The matching time is typically five seconds or less, and the required power during tuning is 4 ~ 60 Watts.
The FC-40 features 200 memories.
