Personally, I received it with that crease in the middle that you can see in the photo if you look carefully. And after I remove the plate, I have difficulty putting it back since the little metal piece inside that is supposed to hold it stays stuck. It struggles to reach temperature compared to other sandwich makers; if you set it to medium or low, your toast will never actually become toast, and if you set it all the way to high, it will burn. The one star is purely my own experience and in comparison with other sandwich makers.

In 2 months it broke down, not even the indicator light would turn on. They replaced it for me at no extra charge.
It worked for a while and in 6/2025 it broke down again with the same symptoms. They replaced it again at their own expense.
Today 15/02/2026 the lower heating element broke down.
Tomorrow I will call them to send it again for repair.
They contacted me and told me to send it at their own expense, which I did on 25/02/2026.
Today 11/03/2026 I have not yet been informed about the repair.

The worst....2 out of 2 after a few months the lower resistances break down plus what other friends have said here...
The second one they replaced for me lasted 5 months...it doesn't cook at all...
We only used it for toast...not even meat or fats...

Good toaster, you just need to find the right temperature for it to cook properly. The grill is very good, with the plates not sticking when grilling meat.

Good grill and very powerful and fast. In my house, it was tripping the circuit breaker and I had to remove the grounding.

I'm coming back 1.5 years later...
The use was exclusively for toast, tortillas, etc. One day, it suddenly caught fire from the bottom side, under the plates, and the heating elements were destroyed.
The mistake was mine for not paying attention to the fact that it was tripping the circuit breaker...
I've noticed for a while that there are quite a few of us with problems.
It should be noted that as a tool it grilled very well, which is why it gets 2 stars.

the worst toaster i ever purchased. From the second time I tried to put the plate back, besides the fact that the plastic has cracked, it wouldn't go back in and since then it struggles to fit properly. Also, it doesn't heat the bread properly. It is very slow to heat the plates and will burn the bread on the outside and nothing on the inside, or if you lower the temperature it will never heat up. Oh, and it doesn't clean easily since its grooves are very deep.

the best toaster I have had so far: removable plates for easy cleaning and reattachment, immediate achievement of the temperature I choose, it doesn't burn unless you try really hard! horizontally adjustable top plate so it fits perfectly on whatever I'm grilling, grease collector, and handle for pressing or opening the top plate. I haven't opened it to 180 degrees, I haven't needed it so far, normal size and the space it occupies in the kitchen. also vertical placement! definitely worth the money! 5 stars because it is perfect! I would give 4.9 if I could!

very bad toaster, besides not opening well from the start, the mechanism that holds the top part steady broke later. the toasts either burn or come out undercooked, there is no middle ground. the plates eject themselves and in general I retired it and got another one

Although it has enough space, we still haven't toasted a decent sandwich. Either it burns them, or it doesn't melt the cheese inside. We haven't found the right temperature. We haven't used it as a grill. I wouldn't recommend it at this price.

Quality grill, heats up quickly and is more than good for home use. It just needs attention to temperature adjustment so that the toast is cooked evenly and does not burn.
