Kraft Joint Mold Resist silicone is a one-component, acid-curing sealant that is resistant to water and mold growth. It is used for sealing and bonding glass, porcelain and non-porous ceramic structures, such as sanitary ware, kitchen fixtures, shower enclosures and bathrooms. It also adheres to varnished or painted wood and many plastics, including epoxies and polyesters.
It cures quickly when exposed to atmospheric air, remains elastic and cannot be painted with conventional paints. It is not suitable for marble, concrete, plaster or other alkaline substrates, or for contact with lead, copper, brass and zinc.
