Having the old version from the 90s, I consider the new one to be more upgraded with higher quality pieces and definitely greater durability! As for the game, I believe it is the best in its category with rules that are easily understandable for beginners, but at the same time, it is also a game with a lot of depth for more experienced players. A very good purchase and definitely worth the money!

I wish I could convince parents who want to get a classic board game like Monopoly not to do it and to get this game instead. It awakens the imagination of both the child and the adult by choosing from 4 different characters, each with their own skills: wizard, barbarian, elf, dwarf. The adventures of the heroes begin in dungeons, with a different one each day. Players upgrade by earning money and buying weapons and armor until they reach the last page of the book of feats and defeat the final monster. This won't happen in one day; it will take you several days to finish it. And when you do, the company has taken care of many expansions so that the adventure can continue. It's a role-playing and luck game that will teach children that they need to cooperate to succeed.

Heroquest is a very well-produced and nostalgic game at the same time. The new version is superior to the old one, although the artwork is slightly different. They have released a very good and helpful mobile application (Heroquest companion) that helps you play solo and overall assists you quite a lot in the game.

One of the most beautiful board games I have ever played! When I was young, a neighbor had it and it was our favorite game.

So I bought it for my son (10 years old) who has loved it! We completed the 14 missions in 1-2 months and now we are already thinking of buying one of the expansions! This may be the only "drawback" of the game. That is, you have to find missions. Or, alternatively, create them yourself!

In terms of quality, the game is very good! Both the board, the figures, the furniture, and the dice. The instructions are in English, but nowadays I think everyone more or less knows English. Finally, I also put the mobile app in the positives, which allows you to use your phone to play as the evil wizard.

They have done a really good job with the reissue. Anyone who is skeptical that it might be an attempt to make money targeting the nostalgia of some old fans of the game has no reason to worry. It is clear that they have worked on it with passion and love, and the new edition is truly worth adding to the collection of those who are fans of fantasy games.

This board game is awesome! It has a lot of material and scenarios. Normally, it is for up to 5 people (1 plays the villain), but if you are fewer, I think it's better because it has an app to play the villain and you can all play as heroes together (it becomes a team game). There is also the possibility to create your own scenarios and play like D&D or any similar system you know (you can easily play with your own rules). I will definitely play a lot more and I will definitely get the expansions once I finish the base game with my friends!

I still have the original from 1991, it has better and darker artwork than the new edition but those were different times back then. Other than that, it is the same game, the figures are excellent, the rules are easy even for children (over 8-9 years old), and it has plenty of missions so you don't finish it quickly, plus you can easily create your own. There is also a free app on your phone that controls the monsters and the players only have the heroes. If you find it at a good price, up to 90 euros, it's worth it. I wouldn't pay more.

For all the old players who have grown up with this legendary board game, it is a pleasant reissue that upgrades and modernizes the already very good original game. For new players who haven't dealt with the old one but admire the world of Lord of the Rings or D&D or simply enjoy role-playing games, I would say it's worth giving it a chance. Also, in my opinion, the overall quality of the old game is unbeatable, without meaning that the latest version significantly lags behind. Finally, it should be mentioned that the latest version is essentially the update of the American edition of the old game. I mention this because the old board game had an American and European version with significant differences that greatly affected the gameplay, difficulty, and consequently the overall experience. Fortunately, they updated the, in my opinion, better version of the old game, which was naturally the American one.

Excellent game. The price may seem a bit high at first, but the figures are so detailed (they can be painted, so consider them an investment), the cards are beautiful, and the board is worth it. The dice are now plastic and not wooden like the old ones. Also, the figures are somewhat soft and it is possible for the more delicate parts to bend. Personally, we got all the expansions, but the beauty of this game is that anyone can create their own story and quests.

Game clearly nostalgia. with very quality content. now if you haven't played it before you will have difficulty at first but it's worth a little patience. anyway, whoever gets it not for nostalgia will not justify their money. I got it and I would get it again.

Good and quality product worth its money. It is easy to explain to play. For me, one downside is that when playing with less experienced players, you will have to be the bad wizard. And you will do this constantly because you will more or less know the missions and as a hero it will be a bit boring.

One of the best and non-complicated dungeon crawlers! Thematic, with full of stories and excellent construction quality! Suitable even for a group that doesn't like heavy board games, as it progresses comfortably with relative explanation!

I won't say anything that others haven't already said, the game is simply excellent if you like fantasy. Just two tips:

1) Look for foam inserts to prevent the figures from getting damaged when putting them in and taking them out of the original plastic packaging. Skroutz doesn't have them yet.

2) When you play a bit, if you feel like adding more difficulty, start implementing your own rules. Games like D&D can inspire you to enrich it. For example, as Zargon, you can roll a dice for each monster to see how cleverly it will move.

I have the main game as well as the two expansions, Kellar's Keep and Return of the Witch Lord. An action and fantasy game that you don't get bored playing. Innovative, I would say, and above all, it reminds me of earlier times when board games were a good excuse for human gatherings. The fun is guaranteed in this board game, in my opinion.

Just the fact that the game we had as children has been reissued is worth it. The price for what it offers is quite good. Compared to the old one, it has more quality figures and all the furniture, for example, is plastic. Unfortunately, it was not translated into Greek, although most of us do not have a problem.

A classic RGP Board Game that has made history, a very premium edition. As for the translation into Greek that many wonder about, there is no chance it will be released, the consumer base is very small, only in English and it's perfectly fine, let's be a little realistic. There are other countries with a larger consumer base that haven't released it in their language.
