After testing, the router and the Devolo Magic 2 base were plugged into sockets on the same phase and everything worked exceptionally well!

Very good! I used it to transfer internet to another floor using three-phase power. The only thing you need to be careful about is that it is NOT compatible with Devolo's dlan series, only with Magic 1 & Magic 2.

Unfortunately, the wired speed is very low. From the advertised 1000Mbps, the system locks at 250-200, within a short distance on the same floor and apartment, but in reality, it transfers at less than 100Mbps. That is around 60Mbps, which makes it impractical for transferring large files within the house between a computer and a NAS in another room. Therefore, they have been limited as a secondary solution. On the positive side, it is relatively stable.

The best purchase I have made recently. The router is about 7 meters away from the PC, so I had to rely on a terrible TP-LINK wireless connection that would disconnect every 5 minutes..... nothing.. DEVOLO without a doubt. I have paired it with the socket behind the PC and I am using an Ethernet cable. It is expensive but it's a lifesaver. I also have 4 other devices in the area that are always connected to the wifi and they work perfectly. Oh! and the installation took 3-4 minutes. Flawless.

What you pay for, you get! Being a holder for 1.5 years, I haven't lost a single kb. Only once every 6 months, I had to do a restart and that's it. It's worth it because you don't need to be on top of it every 2 days like with TP LINK

Two floors "distance" from the router and in sockets with different phases, I constantly had disconnections and dramatic speeds with another company's powerline.
With the Magic 2, no disconnections and I have great speeds for streaming and online gaming.
It's definitely not cheap, but in the end, you get what you pay for.

Unbelievable machine. In a 180sqm maisonette and you have signal everywhere. It doesn't lose signal during power outages. In the 3 years, it has only needed to be reset and retuned twice. Having a 200 Mbps FTTH line, on the old TP LINK the speed on the laptop located above the router was: LAN 100 Mbps and WIFI 207 Mbps, and on the laptop in the other room the speed was: LAN 60 Mbps and WIFI 5 Mbps.
When I connected the DEVOLO, the speed on the laptop located above the router became: LAN 207 Mbps and WIFI 207 Mbps, while on the laptop in the other room the speed became: LAN 150-200 Mbps and WIFI 200 Mbps.
THEREFORE, THE DEVOLO INCREASED SPEEDS ON BOTH LAPTOPS.

What you pay is what you get. The old powerline reached 22mbps, and this simply terminates the speed I have at home, 49mbps, placed in the exact same sockets!

They are the best on the market, that's why they cost so much. Minimal loss for sockets in the same phase and relatively small (especially when compared to the competition) for sockets in another phase.

It doesn't reach the speeds it claims in any case and obviously it's not worth its money at all! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

Amazing machine. It gave me a little trouble with synchronization but it's okay. The app could have been better (considering the amount of money you pay). I set it to transmit on a specific channel-frequency on the Wi-Fi to avoid interference from neighbors. On automatic mode, it didn't give more than 15 on a 50-line, but after adjusting it, it worked just like the router. All settings are done through the devolo home network app. And it should also shut down at night so it doesn't fry our brains. After almost 3 months of full webex, skype, and related stuff. Definitely worth it!!!!

In a relatively new house, with proper wiring, the advertised speeds of 2400mbps and 1200mbps are nowhere near achievable, even with the use of UTP CAT6 cables. As for the internet connection, out of the 200mbps provided by FTTH, only an average of 80mbps is being transferred. Lastly, the temperature that the units reach (which exceeds 100°C by far) is unacceptable for such bulky and expensive devices.

Initially, I thought it was good. Now, I constantly have disconnections and every 2-3 days it needs a reset because it freezes.
Speeds when I have the 1 + 2 are terrible. Only the 1 + 1 plays satisfactorily.
