Very good construction, very good quality. It is, of course, just an iron and a disc, but the thickness of the components gives you the feeling (and in reality it is) that they will not start to deform and bend (lose their original shape) from high temperatures and frequent fluctuations. They also have enough weight to not be dragged by any large logs in the fireplace.
