Πολύ εύκολη σύνδεση με καθοδηγηση από την εφαρμογή βήμα προς βήμα ..
Πάρα πολύ καλή εμβέλεια , εκεί που δυσκολευόταν το wi-fi της cosmote , το δεύτερο mesh συνδέεται άνετα και εκπέμπει με full ταχύτητα της γραμμής και πολύ χαμηλό ping όλα δείχνουν ότι έχουμε λύσει το πρόβλημα σε όλο το διαμέρισμα και τα μπαλκόνια με full κάλυψη και ένταση στο wi-fi παντού ...
Καθώς μετακινείσαι μέσα στο σπίτι από άκρη σε άκρη η εναλλαγή wi-fi από point σε point γίνεται σε μέσα το πολύ 5 δευτερόλεπτα χωρίς καμία διακοπή στην ταχύτητα της συσκευής είναι φοβερό ...

23/08/2022 Όλα δουλεύουν ΑΨΟΓΑ με σχεδόν 50 συσκευές συνδεδεμενες και με smart home devices έχουμε λύσει το πρόβλημα με το wifi ... το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα πηρε και ενα update ολα καλα !!!

I made the mistake of trusting the many positive reviews.
I combined them with two H70X via wireless and ethernet backhaul (on the manufacturer's website it is stated that they work perfectly together and can handle more nodes than the ones I used).
At first, everything seemed fine, very few disconnections on one of the nodes which were fixed with a manual restart.
Now, not even a year later, I regret the moment I placed the order.
Constant disconnections on all H50G nodes, one H70X, even though it is connected via ethernet cable, is not detected and tries to get a signal wirelessly (resetting did not solve anything).
The worst part is something that is not mentioned anywhere on the manufacturer's website, but if you google it, you will find out that it is an issue that sooner or later everyone who bought them faces.
It does not allow you to choose the signal source for the nodes, resulting in them automatically selecting the source from which they will receive the signal, which 99% of the time is always the main node that is plugged into the router.
In other words, even if there is a wired node very close by, they will choose to connect to the main one that is much further away, resulting in very low signal with all that this entails (low speeds, disconnections, etc).
Do yourself a favor and get something more reliable so you don't end up paying twice later.
Έκανα το λάθος και εμπιστεύτηκα τις πολλές θετικές κριτικές.
Τα συνδύασα με δύο H70X μέσω wireless και ethernet backhaul (στο site του κατασκευαστή αναφέρεται ότι συνεργάζονται άψογα και ότι αντέχουν και παραπάνω nodes από αυτά που χρησιμοποίησα).
Στην αρχή όλα φαινόντουσαν καλά, ελάχιστες αποσυνδέσεις σε ένα από τα nodes που διορθωνόντουσαν με ένα manual restart.
Πλέον, ούτε ένα χρόνο μετά, μετανιώνω την ώρα και τη στιγμή που έκανα την παραγγελία.
Συνεχείς αποσυνδέσεις σε όλα τα H50G nodes, το ένα H70X ενώ είναι συνδεμένο μέσω ethernet cable δεν το βλέπει και προσπαθεί να πάρει σήμα ασύρματα (το reset δεν έλυσε τίποτα).
Το χειρότερο όμως είναι κάτι που δεν αναφέρεται πουθενά στο site του κατασκευαστή αλλά αν το googlάρετε θα διαπιστώσετε πως πρόκειται για ένα θέμα που αργά ή γρήγορα αντιμετωπίζουν όλοι όσοι τα πήραν.
Δε σε αφήνει να επιλέγεις signal source για τα nodes, με αποτέλεσμα να επιλέγουν αυτόματα την πηγή από όπου θα πάρουν σήμα, η οποία 99% είναι πάντα το κεντρικό node που είναι κουμπωμένο στο router.
Με άλλα λόγια, ακόμα κι αν έχουν wired node σε πολύ κοντινή απόσταση, θα επιλέξουν να συνδεθούν στο κεντρικό που απέχει πολύ περισσότερο, με αποτέλεσμα να έχουν πολύ χαμηλό σήμα με ό,τι αυτό συνεπάγεται (χαμηλές ταχύτητες, αποσυνδέσεις κλπ).
Κάντε τη χάρη στον εαυτό σας και πάρτε κάτι πιο αξιόπιστο για να μην το πληρώσετε διπλά αργότερα.

I connect the router via cable to one of the two nodes. I connect this node, which is the parent node, to the Ethernet socket that is near the router. I place the second node (child node) in the most remote room of the apartment and connect it to the Ethernet socket of that room. Finally, I turn off the router's Wi-Fi so it doesn't interfere with the mesh. This way, I have Wi-Fi from the mesh throughout the entire 100 sq.m. house with speeds at 100% of the provider's 300 Mbps and over 280 Mbps at the intermediate points. And of course, I have 2 spare Ethernet outputs on each of the 2 nodes.

They work just fine and cover a large part of a professional space that extends over two floors. As someone moves through the space, there is automatic fast roaming so the connection (used for VoIP) is not interrupted, which was the main reason it was purchased.

I solved the internet problem; where I used to get 300mbs next to the router and 20mbs in the room, now I consistently get 250-300mbs throughout the house. I recommend it to anyone living in a house over 100 square meters and having internet issues!

The installation was very easy, as was the firmware upgrade through the app. Installed in a 110 square meter house with quite a few obstacles between rooms. Triple kit. The problem is its stability. Some "freezes" appeared, especially during browsing, which I can't exactly pinpoint the cause of, but the device is to blame since with a direct connection to the router they don't occur. Also, I have a 20% reduction in speed from the nominal (300FTH), that is, about 240-250 while on the router it's a solid 300. Εμφανίστηκαν κάποια "κολλήματα" ειδικά στο browsing τα οποία δε μπορώ να εντοπίσω που οφείλονται ακριβώς αλλά η συσκευή είναι υπαίτια καθώς με απευθείας σύνδεση στο ρούτερ δεν εμφανίζονται. Επίσης έχω μείωση της ταχύτητας κατά 20% της ονομαστικής (300FTH) δηλαδή περίπου 240-250 ενώ στο ρούτερ 300 ακατεβατα. Μάλλον έκανα λάθος οι λυπήθηκα τα 20-30 ευρώ παραπάνω για να πάρω κάτι με WiFi 6. Πάνε για αντικατάσταση λίαν συντόμως.

In a two-story maisonette, the main one on the 1st floor is plugged in to act as a router for Starlink, which is set up in bypass mode, and the second one on the ground floor is in Mesh mode. The signal on the ground floor is terrible, no matter what setting the human mind can think of. Naturally, the victim is the speed, which is laughable compared to the first floor, as the bits stubbornly refuse to pass through the house's concrete slab. The first floor has turned into a graveyard for bits...
They played for a year with another... regime before Starlink and still I wasn't thrilled. I decided to experiment now with Starlink because I had heard it doesn't... win any awards for its wifi signal (which is 100% true) before I throw them away. In the end, I will throw them away. I'm tired of dealing with nonsense. Pay 5 bucks more. Period.

WIFI SPEEDTEST
The tests I conducted concern an apartment of 110 square meters with concrete walls in a rectangular layout. All measurements were carried out using the Speedtest service on my mobile (POCO X7 PRO). I should point out that I constantly had issues with low or no Wi-Fi signal access in the bedrooms, which are separated by two walls, as the router is located in the living room at the farthest corner of the apartment. WIFI SPEEDTEST
Οι δοκιμές που έκανα αφορά ένα διαμέρισμα 110 τετραγωνικών μέτρων με τσιμεντένιους τοίχους σε παραλληλόγραμμη διάταξη. Όλες οι μετρήσεις πραγματοποιήθηκαν χρησιμοποιώντας την υπηρεσία Speedtest του κινητου (POCO X7 PRO). Να επισημάνω ότι είχα συνεχώς πρόβλημα με χαμηλή έλλειψη πρόσβασης στο σήμα Wi-Fi στα υπνοδωμάτια που τα χωρίζουν 2 τοίχοι, καθώς ο δρομολογητής βρίσκεται στο σαλόνι στην πιο μακρινή γωνία του διαμερίσματος. Μετά την εγκατάσταση του δικτύου Mesh, το πρόβλημα εξαφανίστηκε και το δίκτυο ήταν διαθέσιμο παντού με τη μέγιστη ταχύτητά μου , τα 100 Mbps της Cosmote.

Very easy installation with its application. I replaced an extender that barely reached 10mb, and now in the same place, I have 300, the same as my connection.

In a long house of 110 sqm, with the modem at one end and zero signal in the last room, the triple kit was installed, with the 1st next to the modem, the 2nd in the middle, and the 3rd at the end. I turned off the modem's WiFi and it works exclusively with the kit in the house.
All points in the house have perfect signal, no interruptions, and no fluctuations in speed. Everything was done easily and without problems.
I am very satisfied with the purchase.
Σε μακρόστενο σπίτι 110τμ, με το μόντεμ στη μία άκρη και με μηδέν σήμα στο τελευταίο δωμάτιο, μπήκε το 3πλο κιτ, με το 1ο δίπλα στο μόντεμ, το 2ο στη μέση και το 3ο στο τέρμα. Έσβησε το WiFi του μόντεμ και λειτουργεί αποκλειστικά του κιτ στο σπίτι.
Όλα τα σημεία του σπιτιού έχουν τέλειο σήμα, καθόλου διακοπές και κανένα σπαμπανεβάσμα στην ταχύτητα. Όλα έγιναν εύκολα και χωρίς προβλήματα.
Είμαι πάρα πολύ ευχαριστημένος με την αγορά.

Very poor optimization. I have the package with 3 nodes and instead of connecting in series, the 3rd node wants to connect to the 1st, which is farther away than the 2nd. Because of this, the 3rd node keeps dropping. Also, there is no way to configure it manually, at least not from the software they provide. There is also a problem with the DHCP server, which they claim they fixed, but every time a new device connects, the network drops. I have set static IPs on all devices to prevent this from happening. I am surprised with so many positive reviews and yet I have such a problem.

Πάρα πολύ κακό optimization. Έχω το πακέτο με τους 3 κόμβους και αντί να συνδεθούν σειριακά, ο 3ος κόμβος θέλει να συνδεθεί με τον 1ο που είναι πιο μακριά από τον 2ο. Εξαιτίας αυτού του λόγου συνεχώς πέφτει ο 3ος κόμβος. Επίσης δεν υπάρχει τρόπος να τον κάνεις configure manually, τουλάχιστον από το λογισμικό που παρέχουν. Επίσης υπάρχει πρόβλημα με τον DCHP server το οποίο ισχυρίζονται ότι το φτιάξανε αλλά κάθε φορά που συνδέεται μια νέα συσκευή το δίκτυο πέφτει. Έχω βάλει static IPs σε όλες τις συσκευές για να μην συμβαίνει αυτό . Μου κάνει εντύπωση με τόσα θετικά reviews και εγώ να έχω τέτοιο πρόβλημα.

Excellent and very easy to install via the app. I have reliable internet throughout the house. The router is in one room and on my balcony at the other end of the house (95 sqm) I consistently have over 90mbps on a 100mb line.
Εξαιρετικό και πολύ εύκολη η εγκατάσταση του μέσω της εφαρμογής. Απέκτησα αξιόπιστο internet σε όλο το σπίτι. Το router είναι σε δωμάτιο και στο μπαλκόνι μου στην άλλη άκρη του σπιτιού (95 τμ) έχω σταθερά άνω των 90mbps σε 100αρα γραμμή.
The connection was made in a 3-level maisonette of 180 square meters with the double kit. You follow the instructions of the app and finish in three minutes. You don't even need to watch any videos on YouTube or anything. Just super easy. The first halo connected to the router on the ground floor. The second halo connected to the first. There is a staircase between the floors. Throughout the house, even on the second floor where there is no halo but it receives from the first, I have 120mbps. It automatically switches from halo to halo to give you the best signal without you noticing anything. With the exact same router and the exact same connection (200 mbps VDSL) and 2 extenders, I was getting up to 40 mbps and had very frequent interruptions as well as many dead spots in the house. There are no interruptions anymore and no dead spots. One of the best fifty euros I have ever spent!
Η συνδεση εγινε σε μεζονετα 3 επιπεδων 180 τετραγωνικα με το διπλο kit. Ακολουθας τις οδηγιες του app και τελειωνεις σε ενα τριλεπτο. Ουτε video στο youtube χρειαζεται να δεις ουτε τιποτα. Απλα πανευκολο.
Το 1ο halo συνδεθηκε στο router στο ισογειο. Το 2ο halo συνδεθηκε στον 1ο. Ενδιαμεσα στους οροφους υπαρχει σκαλα.
Σε ολο το σπιτι ακομα και στον 2ο που δεν υπαρχει καποιο halo αλλα παιρνει απ τον 1ο εχω 120mbps. Αλλαζει μονο του απο halo σε halo για να εχεις το ιδανικοτερο σημα χωρις να καταλαβαινεις τιποτα.
Με το ιδιο ακριβως router και την ιδια ακριβως συνδεση (200 mbps vdsl) και 2 extender εφτανα μεχρι 40 mbps και ειχα πολυ συχνες διακοπες καθως και πολλα νεκρα σημεια στο σπιτι. Δεν υπαρχει καμια διακοπη πλεον και κανενα νεκρο σημειο.
Απ τα καλυτερα πενηνταευρα που εχω δωσει ποτε!

Package of 3 Halo 50 devices. Extremely simple installation. Very good coverage on 3 floors totaling 210m2. From the 100Mbps provided by the ISP router, I measure 90-95mbps in all rooms on all floors. Even outside in the front and back garden, it gives a clear 60-75mbps at a distance of 10m from the building. So far, I have about 30+ devices connected without any issues. The 5ghz coverage, unlike ISP routers, is everywhere.
An excellent solution for a basic home network, it provides a very good background for setting up Apple HomeKit. It combines two bands (2.4ghz & 5ghz) on the same SSID, and devices that can connect automatically prefer the 5ghz band and have very good speeds. The HomePod minis (3x) we have connect to the 5ghz as well as all the iPhones. The Apple HomeKit and all the smart devices I have on it do not disconnect at all! 5 WiFi cameras from Eufy in the outdoor area surrounding the house without any disconnections!
The app is not for professionals but offers excellent options for home use (device prioritization, parental controls for devices, Guest network (2.4ghz & 5ghz) as well as a very good network optimization tool).
For testing, I unplugged one Halo at a time and no device ever "dropped," it automatically transfers to the other two. Also, you move around effortlessly without realizing when it switches you to the Halo that serves you better each time.
Summary: excellent value for money package for home use, very good coverage and network stability. The switch from extenders/repeaters to mesh alone is enough to impress you (like night and day), excellent speed, stability, reliability.
Update 30/01/2025:
A couple of weeks ago bought a set of 2x more HALO H50Gs.
Now I have a total of 5x HALO H50Gs, and they provide a very good coverage in 3 stories building.
3x HALO H50Gs are installed in Groundfloor (Master next to Router via ethernet cable, the other 2x in medium distance to provide mesh sphaerical coverage in areas.
1x HALO H50G is installed in Basement, (toughest area without HALOs) and the coverage is equal to any other area.
1x HALO H50G is installed in 1st Floor where the majority of devices are.
So far only issue I cannot fully resolve is a medium signal indication from Master HALO to 1st floor, but that does not seem to affect coverage at all.
Many times, while it should connect 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 (they are all in sequence), it connects 1 to 2 and 1 to 3, so I end up having poor speed on some. It occasionally freezes and needs to be rebooted. The cloud GUI is very good, even though it doesn't have many advanced features, but you get what you pay for. For its price, it's very good
Πολλες φορες ενω πρεπει να συνδεθει το 1 στο 2 και το 2 στο 3 (ειναι ολα στην σειρα) συνδεεται το 1 στο 2 και το 1 στο 3 οποτε καταλληγω να εχω κακη ταχυτητα σε καποια. Κανει κατι κολληματα που και που και χρειαζεται να γινουν reboot. το cloud gui ειναι πολυ καλο και ας μην εχει πολυ advanced features, αλλα οτι πληρωνεις παιρνεις. για την τιμη του πολυ καλο

The best in its category (maybe for a professional space it needs the version of 3 kits, although I saw comments about the dual kit working well in 2 floors) Perfect!

Οτι καλυτερο στην κατηγορια του (ισως για επαγγελματικο χωρο να θελει την εκδοση των 3 kits, αν και ειδα σχολια για το διπλο kit να κανει δουλεια σε 2 οροφους) Τελειο!
Excellent and economical choice. The 1st "replaced" the provider's router in the living room and the 2nd connected to the first in the bedroom with a distance of over 10 meters and with 3 intermediate walls! No signal loss! In operation since December 2023.

It works very well and has a good signal. I have connected them to each other with ethernet. If you already have another router, set it up as an Access Point.

I bought this set to replace a Deco system that was damaged by lightning. It is very easy to set up. The software is almost identical to the TP-Link Deco software. These units are much smaller and neater (and cheaper) than the Deco, perform excellently.
It does what it promises. They can be used all together but also individually. In each one you can give the option for use as a router or as an access point. I got the triple kit for use in a maisonette with 3 floors (~120sq.m.) but ended up using two. Installation in 3 minutes and very easy to use on the App from wherever you are.

I don't think I have anything wrong but in order for the slave to have perfect signal from the main halo there should not be a wall? No matter what I have done, as close as I get, with a wall I have an issue with the signal between them, and it constantly shows Unstabled

I connect the router via cable to one of the two nodes. I connect this node, which is the parent node, to the Ethernet socket that is near the router. I place the second node (child node) in the most remote room of the apartment and connect it to the Ethernet socket of that room. Finally, I turn off the router's Wi-Fi so it doesn't interfere with the mesh. This way, I have Wi-Fi from the mesh throughout the entire 100 sq.m. house with speeds at 100% of the provider's 300 Mbps and over 280 Mbps at the intermediate points. And of course, I have 2 spare Ethernet outputs on each of the 2 nodes.

They work just fine and cover a large part of a professional space that extends over two floors. As someone moves through the space, there is automatic fast roaming so the connection (used for VoIP) is not interrupted, which was the main reason it was purchased.

I solved the internet problem; where I used to get 300mbs next to the router and 20mbs in the room, now I consistently get 250-300mbs throughout the house. I recommend it to anyone living in a house over 100 square meters and having internet issues!

Since I have a really difficult layout the wifi signal was always bad and normal extender could not deliver a decent signal to the other rooms. with these I managed to cover the whole area easily and the app allows to control the traffic, set rules etc.

Πάρα πολύ καλή εμβέλεια , εκεί που δυσκολευόταν το wi-fi της cosmote , το δεύτερο mesh συνδέεται άνετα και εκπέμπει με full ταχύτητα της γραμμής και πολύ χαμηλό ping όλα δείχνουν ότι έχουμε λύσει το πρόβλημα σε όλο το διαμέρισμα και τα μπαλκόνια με full κάλυψη και ένταση στο wi-fi παντού ...
Καθώς μετακινείσαι μέσα στο σπίτι από άκρη σε άκρη η εναλλαγή wi-fi από point σε point γίνεται σε μέσα το πολύ 5 δευτερόλεπτα χωρίς καμία διακοπή στην ταχύτητα της συσκευής είναι φοβερό ...
αρκετά οικονομική λύση για wifi mesh σε σχέση αντίστοιχα της tp-link
(να αναφέρω εδώ ότι η mercusys είναι θυγατρική εταιρεία της tp-link )

23/08/2022 Όλα δουλεύουν ΑΨΟΓΑ με σχεδόν 50 συσκευές συνδεδεμενες και με smart home devices έχουμε λύσει το πρόβλημα με το wifi ... το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα πηρε και ενα update ολα καλα !!!

I made the mistake of trusting the many positive reviews.
I combined them with two H70X via wireless and ethernet backhaul (on the manufacturer's website it is stated that they work perfectly together and can handle more nodes than the ones I used).
At first, everything seemed fine, very few disconnections on one of the nodes which were fixed with a manual restart.
Now, not even a year later, I regret the moment I placed the order.
Constant disconnections on all H50G nodes, one H70X, even though it is connected via ethernet cable, is not detected and tries to get a signal wirelessly (resetting did not solve anything).
The worst part is something that is not mentioned anywhere on the manufacturer's website, but if you google it, you will find out that it is an issue that sooner or later everyone who bought them faces.
It does not allow you to choose the signal source for the nodes, resulting in them automatically selecting the source from which they will receive the signal, which 99% of the time is always the main node that is plugged into the router.
In other words, even if there is a wired node very close by, they will choose to connect to the main one that is much further away, resulting in very low signal with all that this entails (low speeds, disconnections, etc).
Do yourself a favor and get something more reliable so you don't end up paying twice later.
Έκανα το λάθος και εμπιστεύτηκα τις πολλές θετικές κριτικές.
Τα συνδύασα με δύο H70X μέσω wireless και ethernet backhaul (στο site του κατασκευαστή αναφέρεται ότι συνεργάζονται άψογα και ότι αντέχουν και παραπάνω nodes από αυτά που χρησιμοποίησα).
Στην αρχή όλα φαινόντουσαν καλά, ελάχιστες αποσυνδέσεις σε ένα από τα nodes που διορθωνόντουσαν με ένα manual restart.
Πλέον, ούτε ένα χρόνο μετά, μετανιώνω την ώρα και τη στιγμή που έκανα την παραγγελία.
Συνεχείς αποσυνδέσεις σε όλα τα H50G nodes, το ένα H70X ενώ είναι συνδεμένο μέσω ethernet cable δεν το βλέπει και προσπαθεί να πάρει σήμα ασύρματα (το reset δεν έλυσε τίποτα).
Το χειρότερο όμως είναι κάτι που δεν αναφέρεται πουθενά στο site του κατασκευαστή αλλά αν το googlάρετε θα διαπιστώσετε πως πρόκειται για ένα θέμα που αργά ή γρήγορα αντιμετωπίζουν όλοι όσοι τα πήραν.
Δε σε αφήνει να επιλέγεις signal source για τα nodes, με αποτέλεσμα να επιλέγουν αυτόματα την πηγή από όπου θα πάρουν σήμα, η οποία 99% είναι πάντα το κεντρικό node που είναι κουμπωμένο στο router.
Με άλλα λόγια, ακόμα κι αν έχουν wired node σε πολύ κοντινή απόσταση, θα επιλέξουν να συνδεθούν στο κεντρικό που απέχει πολύ περισσότερο, με αποτέλεσμα να έχουν πολύ χαμηλό σήμα με ό,τι αυτό συνεπάγεται (χαμηλές ταχύτητες, αποσυνδέσεις κλπ).
Κάντε τη χάρη στον εαυτό σας και πάρτε κάτι πιο αξιόπιστο για να μην το πληρώσετε διπλά αργότερα.

I connect the router via cable to one of the two nodes. I connect this node, which is the parent node, to the Ethernet socket that is near the router. I place the second node (child node) in the most remote room of the apartment and connect it to the Ethernet socket of that room. Finally, I turn off the router's Wi-Fi so it doesn't interfere with the mesh. This way, I have Wi-Fi from the mesh throughout the entire 100 sq.m. house with speeds at 100% of the provider's 300 Mbps and over 280 Mbps at the intermediate points. And of course, I have 2 spare Ethernet outputs on each of the 2 nodes.

I solved the internet problem; where I used to get 300mbs next to the router and 20mbs in the room, now I consistently get 250-300mbs throughout the house. I recommend it to anyone living in a house over 100 square meters and having internet issues!

The installation was very easy, as was the firmware upgrade through the app. Installed in a 110 square meter house with quite a few obstacles between rooms. Triple kit. The problem is its stability. Some "freezes" appeared, especially during browsing, which I can't exactly pinpoint the cause of, but the device is to blame since with a direct connection to the router they don't occur. Also, I have a 20% reduction in speed from the nominal (300FTH), that is, about 240-250 while on the router it's a solid 300. Εμφανίστηκαν κάποια "κολλήματα" ειδικά στο browsing τα οποία δε μπορώ να εντοπίσω που οφείλονται ακριβώς αλλά η συσκευή είναι υπαίτια καθώς με απευθείας σύνδεση στο ρούτερ δεν εμφανίζονται. Επίσης έχω μείωση της ταχύτητας κατά 20% της ονομαστικής (300FTH) δηλαδή περίπου 240-250 ενώ στο ρούτερ 300 ακατεβατα. Μάλλον έκανα λάθος οι λυπήθηκα τα 20-30 ευρώ παραπάνω για να πάρω κάτι με WiFi 6. Πάνε για αντικατάσταση λίαν συντόμως.

In a two-story maisonette, the main one on the 1st floor is plugged in to act as a router for Starlink, which is set up in bypass mode, and the second one on the ground floor is in Mesh mode. The signal on the ground floor is terrible, no matter what setting the human mind can think of. Naturally, the victim is the speed, which is laughable compared to the first floor, as the bits stubbornly refuse to pass through the house's concrete slab. The first floor has turned into a graveyard for bits...
They played for a year with another... regime before Starlink and still I wasn't thrilled. I decided to experiment now with Starlink because I had heard it doesn't... win any awards for its wifi signal (which is 100% true) before I throw them away. In the end, I will throw them away. I'm tired of dealing with nonsense. Pay 5 bucks more. Period.

WIFI SPEEDTEST
The tests I conducted concern an apartment of 110 square meters with concrete walls in a rectangular layout. All measurements were carried out using the Speedtest service on my mobile (POCO X7 PRO). WIFI SPEEDTEST
Οι δοκιμές που έκανα αφορά ένα διαμέρισμα 110 τετραγωνικών μέτρων με τσιμεντένιους τοίχους σε παραλληλόγραμμη διάταξη. Όλες οι μετρήσεις πραγματοποιήθηκαν χρησιμοποιώντας την υπηρεσία Speedtest του κινητου (POCO X7 PRO). Να επισημάνω ότι είχα συνεχώς πρόβλημα με χαμηλή έλλειψη πρόσβασης στο σήμα Wi-Fi στα υπνοδωμάτια που τα χωρίζουν 2 τοίχοι, καθώς ο δρομολογητής βρίσκεται στο σαλόνι στην πιο μακρινή γωνία του διαμερίσματος. Μετά την εγκατάσταση του δικτύου Mesh, το πρόβλημα εξαφανίστηκε και το δίκτυο ήταν διαθέσιμο παντού με τη μέγιστη ταχύτητά μου , τα 100 Mbps της Cosmote.

Very easy installation with its application. I replaced an extender that barely reached 10mb, and now in the same place, I have 300, the same as my connection.

In a long house of 110 sqm, with the modem at one end and zero signal in the last room, the triple kit was installed, with the 1st next to the modem, the 2nd in the middle, and the 3rd at the end. I turned off the modem's WiFi and it works exclusively with the kit in the house.
All points in the house have perfect signal, no interruptions, and no fluctuations in speed. Everything was done easily and without problems.
I am very satisfied with the purchase.
Σε μακρόστενο σπίτι 110τμ, με το μόντεμ στη μία άκρη και με μηδέν σήμα στο τελευταίο δωμάτιο, μπήκε το 3πλο κιτ, με το 1ο δίπλα στο μόντεμ, το 2ο στη μέση και το 3ο στο τέρμα. Έσβησε το WiFi του μόντεμ και λειτουργεί αποκλειστικά του κιτ στο σπίτι.
Όλα τα σημεία του σπιτιού έχουν τέλειο σήμα, καθόλου διακοπές και κανένα σπαμπανεβάσμα στην ταχύτητα. Όλα έγιναν εύκολα και χωρίς προβλήματα.
Είμαι πάρα πολύ ευχαριστημένος με την αγορά.

Very poor optimization. I have the package with 3 nodes and instead of connecting in series, the 3rd node wants to connect to the 1st, which is farther away than the 2nd. Because of this, the 3rd node keeps dropping. Also, there is no way to configure it manually, at least not from the software they provide. There is also a problem with the DHCP server, which they claim they fixed, but every time a new device connects, the network drops. I have set static IPs on all devices to prevent this from happening. I am surprised with so many positive reviews and yet I have such a problem.

Πάρα πολύ κακό optimization. Έχω το πακέτο με τους 3 κόμβους και αντί να συνδεθούν σειριακά, ο 3ος κόμβος θέλει να συνδεθεί με τον 1ο που είναι πιο μακριά από τον 2ο. Εξαιτίας αυτού του λόγου συνεχώς πέφτει ο 3ος κόμβος. Επίσης δεν υπάρχει τρόπος να τον κάνεις configure manually, τουλάχιστον από το λογισμικό που παρέχουν. Επίσης υπάρχει πρόβλημα με τον DCHP server το οποίο ισχυρίζονται ότι το φτιάξανε αλλά κάθε φορά που συνδέεται μια νέα συσκευή το δίκτυο πέφτει. Έχω βάλει static IPs σε όλες τις συσκευές για να μην συμβαίνει αυτό . Μου κάνει εντύπωση με τόσα θετικά reviews και εγώ να έχω τέτοιο πρόβλημα.

Excellent and very easy to install via the app. I have reliable internet throughout the house. The router is in one room and on my balcony at the other end of the house (95 sqm) I consistently have over 90mbps on a 100mb line.
Εξαιρετικό και πολύ εύκολη η εγκατάσταση του μέσω της εφαρμογής. Απέκτησα αξιόπιστο internet σε όλο το σπίτι. Το router είναι σε δωμάτιο και στο μπαλκόνι μου στην άλλη άκρη του σπιτιού (95 τμ) έχω σταθερά άνω των 90mbps σε 100αρα γραμμή.
The connection was made in a 3-level maisonette of 180 square meters with the double kit. You follow the instructions of the app and finish in three minutes. You don't even need to watch any videos on YouTube or anything. Just super easy. The first halo connected to the router on the ground floor. The second halo connected to the first. There is a staircase between the floors. Throughout the house, even on the second floor where there is no halo but it receives from the first, I have 120mbps. It automatically switches from halo to halo to give you the best signal without you noticing anything. With the exact same router and the exact same connection (200 mbps VDSL) and 2 extenders, I was getting up to 40 mbps and had very frequent interruptions as well as many dead spots in the house. There are no interruptions anymore and no dead spots. One of the best fifty euros I have ever spent!
Η συνδεση εγινε σε μεζονετα 3 επιπεδων 180 τετραγωνικα με το διπλο kit. Ακολουθας τις οδηγιες του app και τελειωνεις σε ενα τριλεπτο. Ουτε video στο youtube χρειαζεται να δεις ουτε τιποτα. Απλα πανευκολο.
Το 1ο halo συνδεθηκε στο router στο ισογειο. Το 2ο halo συνδεθηκε στον 1ο. Ενδιαμεσα στους οροφους υπαρχει σκαλα.
Σε ολο το σπιτι ακομα και στον 2ο που δεν υπαρχει καποιο halo αλλα παιρνει απ τον 1ο εχω 120mbps. Αλλαζει μονο του απο halo σε halo για να εχεις το ιδανικοτερο σημα χωρις να καταλαβαινεις τιποτα.
Με το ιδιο ακριβως router και την ιδια ακριβως συνδεση (200 mbps vdsl) και 2 extender εφτανα μεχρι 40 mbps και ειχα πολυ συχνες διακοπες καθως και πολλα νεκρα σημεια στο σπιτι. Δεν υπαρχει καμια διακοπη πλεον και κανενα νεκρο σημειο.
Απ τα καλυτερα πενηνταευρα που εχω δωσει ποτε!

Package of 3 Halo 50 devices. Extremely simple installation. Very good coverage on 3 floors totaling 210m2. From the 100Mbps provided by the ISP router, I measure 90-95mbps in all rooms on all floors. Even outside in the front and back garden, it gives a clear 60-75mbps at a distance of 10m from the building. So far, I have about 30+ devices connected without any issues. The 5ghz coverage, unlike ISP routers, is everywhere.
An excellent solution for a basic home network, it provides a very good background for setting up Apple HomeKit. It combines two bands (2.4ghz & 5ghz) on the same SSID, and devices that can connect automatically prefer the 5ghz band and have very good speeds. The HomePod minis (3x) we have connect to the 5ghz as well as all the iPhones. The Apple HomeKit and all the smart devices I have on it do not disconnect at all! 5 WiFi cameras from Eufy in the outdoor area surrounding the house without any disconnections!
The app is not for professionals but offers excellent options for home use (device prioritization, parental controls for devices, Guest network (2.4ghz & 5ghz) as well as a very good network optimization tool).
For testing, I unplugged one Halo at a time and no device ever "dropped," it automatically transfers to the other two. Also, you move around effortlessly without realizing when it switches you to the Halo that serves you better each time.
Summary: excellent value for money package for home use, very good coverage and network stability. The switch from extenders/repeaters to mesh alone is enough to impress you (like night and day), excellent speed, stability, reliability.
Update 30/01/2025:
A couple of weeks ago bought a set of 2x more HALO H50Gs.
Now I have a total of 5x HALO H50Gs, and they provide a very good coverage in 3 stories building.
3x HALO H50Gs are installed in Groundfloor (Master next to Router via ethernet cable, the other 2x in medium distance to provide mesh sphaerical coverage in areas.
1x HALO H50G is installed in Basement, (toughest area without HALOs) and the coverage is equal to any other area.
1x HALO H50G is installed in 1st Floor where the majority of devices are.
So far only issue I cannot fully resolve is a medium signal indication from Master HALO to 1st floor, but that does not seem to affect coverage at all.
Many times, while it should connect 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 (they are all in sequence), it connects 1 to 2 and 1 to 3, so I end up having poor speed on some. It occasionally freezes and needs to be rebooted. The cloud GUI is very good, even though it doesn't have many advanced features, but you get what you pay for. For its price, it's very good

Κανει κατι κολληματα που και που και χρειαζεται να γινουν reboot. το cloud gui ειναι πολυ καλο και ας μην εχει πολυ advanced features, αλλα οτι πληρωνεις παιρνεις. για την τιμη του πολυ καλο
It does what it says, very simply. Easy setup with the app and very good signal with the 2nd halo which personally helped me reach the signal 2-3 walls/rooms later... The best in its category (maybe for a professional space it needs the version of 3 kits, although I saw comments about the dual kit working well in 2 floors) Perfect!

Οτι καλυτερο στην κατηγορια του (ισως για επαγγελματικο χωρο να θελει την εκδοση των 3 kits, αν και ειδα σχολια για το διπλο kit να κανει δουλεια σε 2 οροφους) Τελειο!
Excellent and economical choice. The 1st "replaced" the provider's router in the living room and the 2nd connected to the first in the bedroom with a distance of over 10 meters and with 3 intermediate walls! No signal loss! In operation since December 2023.

It works very well and has a good signal. I have connected them to each other with ethernet. If you already have another router, set it up as an Access Point.

I bought this set to replace a Deco system that was damaged by lightning. It is very easy to set up. The software is almost identical to the TP-Link Deco software. These units are much smaller and neater (and cheaper) than the Deco, perform excellently.
It does what it promises. They can be used all together but also individually. In each one you can give the option for use as a router or as an access point. I got the triple kit for use in a maisonette with 3 floors (~120sq.m.) but ended up using two. Installation in 3 minutes and very easy to use on the App from wherever you are.

I don't think I have anything wrong but in order for the slave to have perfect signal from the main halo there should not be a wall? No matter what I have done, as close as I get, with a wall I have an issue with the signal between them, and it constantly shows Unstabled

I connect the router via cable to one of the two nodes. I connect this node, which is the parent node, to the Ethernet socket that is near the router. I place the second node (child node) in the most remote room of the apartment and connect it to the Ethernet socket of that room. Finally, I turn off the router's Wi-Fi so it doesn't interfere with the mesh. This way, I have Wi-Fi from the mesh throughout the entire 100 sq.m. house with speeds at 100% of the provider's 300 Mbps and over 280 Mbps at the intermediate points. And of course, I have 2 spare Ethernet outputs on each of the 2 nodes.

They work just fine and cover a large part of a professional space that extends over two floors. As someone moves through the space, there is automatic fast roaming so the connection (used for VoIP) is not interrupted, which was the main reason it was purchased.

I solved the internet problem; where I used to get 300mbs next to the router and 20mbs in the room, now I consistently get 250-300mbs throughout the house. I recommend it to anyone living in a house over 100 square meters and having internet issues!

Since I have a really difficult layout the wifi signal was always bad and normal extender could not deliver a decent signal to the other rooms. with these I managed to cover the whole area easily and the app allows to control the traffic, set rules etc.
