I connect it, wait for the light to turn orange, from green-red where it started, and when it did, I open my phone and look for the device name. I connect, and then connect the desired network, the router’s, to the device. Okay, it worked. Temporarily! (it has a happy end – don’t worry). While everything was fine for a day, after that it would desynchronize and disconnect. I said, “you played and lost,” put it in the box, and I’ll take it to my parents’ house as a backup, if it works there. Days go by – without internet – and one day I see the box on the shelf looking at me with guilt as if saying, “give me one more chance, let me prove my worth.” Alright, I said, let me do it a favor. I open it, set it up, (Happy New Year! – it’s almost over), and connect. With one difference (nice twist), I connect it with an extension cable and place it near the window and not directly into an internal socket inside the house like before. Voila! Since then, with very minor speed fluctuations, I enjoy uninterrupted connection at very good speed. Conclusion: If it doesn’t provide a good connection, find the right spot where it always has ‘communication’ with your router.
