Very good construction, it slightly protrudes from the lenses to protect them. However, corresponding protective covers that cover the lenses do indeed provide more protection but they distort the photo in strange lighting conditions and sunlight, which is why I chose this particular one.

The most wasted money I have ever spent, as they do not protect the cameras at all since they are perforated as you can see in the photo.
