I got it for a 3/4 inch hose, which, when wrapped, bends sharply near its connection with the reel's quick connector, resulting in the hose not functioning properly unless it is completely unrolled. Shame. It didn't serve my purpose, so it was wasted money for me. I haven't tried it with a 1/2 inch hose.
