Clove Essential Oil

The clove essential oil, known as clove oil, is extracted from the flowers of the plant using the distillation method. It has analgesic properties and acts against bacteria. It relieves muscle injuries, rheumatism, and arthritis. It can be used for massage on body aches.

It is also effective for treating insect bites.

Usage:

• For body massage: Add 6 drops to 2 teaspoons of avocado oil or almond oil, or 20-25 drops to 50ml of avocado oil or almond oil.
• For a relaxing bath: Add 4-8 drops to milk or honey and mix it with water. Relax for 10-15 minutes in the scented water.
• For room fragrance: Pour a few drops into an essential oil burner, adding water to the surface and a tea light candle at the base.
• For compresses: Add 3-6 drops to 100ml of warm or cold water, depending on the case. Shake the water with the oil and soak a piece of sterilized gauze. Wring it out and apply it to the area that needs treatment.

It is widely used in the preparation of perfumes, household items, candles, soaps, cosmetics, and more. Clove essential oil blends well with cinnamon, lavender, and sandalwood essential oils. For use on the body, prefer almond oil or avocado oil as a base.
