Very easy to use and stable. The package also includes screws to screw it onto the car's plastic, but since it is made for this specific car model, personally I haven't screwed it in; it is stable as it is. The only possible disadvantage, which for me is not one, is that to release the handbrake you have to have it upright. Personal opinion and for its price, I recommend it

I had it for 1.5 years in mk7.5, generally it has some creaks and it's not the most stable, with weight it seems to struggle. As long as it lasted, neither the exterior plastics nor the leatherette on the lid broke, just the mechanism broke from the up-and-down movement. On the positive side, you don't need to drill into the console. It fits flush, I just wrapped the base that goes into the cup holder with electrical tape to fill the space around it and make it a bit more stable. Overall, for the money, it's okay, I don't think there's anything better, it does its job.
