The housing is correct and fits exactly with the old key. The only problem is that with a little pressure it opens in two and everything falls out. I put glue all around and now there is no problem. Of course, if I need to open it, I will have to break it.

  • It's just fine. A bit of a knockoff compared to the original but that's understandable. What I would like is the Opel sticker as well, since it is a "Car Key Shell with Flip Blade for Opel with 2 Buttons"

  • The shell is exactly the same as the original. The circuit board fit perfectly, you just remove the blade from the old key and place it yourself in the new one.

It keeps unbuttoning every now and then and it doesn't even have the manufacturer's logo as it appeared on the page where I bought it

  • This is the same model that is presented in a YouTube video by an English locksmith. The instructions for fitting the blade of the original Opel key to the new key are the same. They only differ in the contents of the packaging, which does not include the 1.5mm punch. However, you can purchase it separately. You will also need a holding pliers. Special attention is needed when removing the original key, as in some cases (like mine) the shell is stuck and opens very difficultly. If you can't open it, it's better to take it to a professional locksmith instead of risking damaging the circuit board. Once everything is done correctly, it functions just as well as the original Opel key. The quality of the plastic is slightly lower, but the cost is incomparably smaller than what the dealership charges (200€!!!).

  • Quite good quality. However, in my case, I had to go to a locksmith to have the key engraved. I couldn't simply put the old key in place of the new one.

Very good quality, I didn't expect it to fit so well. We removed the safety that holds the blade and put our own key so you don't have to go to a locksmith to cut it for you. I hope it lasts, it looks like the original. I will also get a second one to fix our second key.

Almost the same as the original key, just a slightly cheaper quality. Second time I replace a key, and I have to say be careful with the plates as you move them, because if the battery moves, the immobilizer may need to be reset again (the car won't start). The adjustment cost 30€ at the locksmith

Very good choice for its price... basically half the price of what they were asking me at a locksmith to repair a key shell, I ended up fixing both of my keys (regular and spare) by buying 2 new shells together.

Installation of the old mechanism in the new shell was quite easy, with the only peculiarity being that it also requires the installation of the old blade in the new one (there is a video on YouTube on how to easily remove the small pin that holds the old blade).
