It is already pre-seasoned, meaning it has undergone the necessary coating with vegetable oil that creates the appropriate non-stick film so that food does not stick. It is ideal for grilling meat, fish, or cooking sauces over the fire. By cooking with the lid closed, you will achieve better temperature distribution and improved cooking of your food, as well as optimal flavor due to the steam that remains inside the pot during cooking.
