The Sanitec sink is made of 18/10 stainless steel, which is an alloy that combines the mechanical properties of steel with the typical corrosion-resistant characteristics of noble metals.

It represents the perfect ratio of chromium and nickel:

  • Chromium hardens the steel, making it rough and enhancing its resistance to corrosion.
  • Nickel increases its resistance to impacts and gives it shine.
  • Steel increases its lifespan and enhances its shine.

Only 18/10 stainless steel protects the sink from breaking and peeling and can guarantee maximum hygiene, as evidenced by its use in surgeries.

It requires minimal maintenance to maintain its shine and beauty, and for cleaning, neutral cleansers are recommended, especially those specialized for stainless surfaces.

Finishing

The finish is satin, meaning smooth and requires more care as salts are more visible.

Installation

The installation is inset, meaning it is mounted within the countertop with the rim protruding. It is the easiest and most common installation for kitchen sinks. Essentially, the weight of the sink is supported by the countertop itself, with some points of support on the bottom for stability. Sealing is achieved with insulation material, such as silicone, which is placed around the opening, below the rim.

Sinks & Drainage Aprons

The main sink is located on the right and next to it there is a second one of about half the size, which can be used as an auxiliary for more capacity and greater flexibility in your kitchen.

Additionally, it has a small drainage apron with special lines that guide the surface water into the sink, so you can place some washed objects (e.g. glasses) and they can dry faster. The apron has a length of 23 cm.

Aside from the length and width of the sink, you should also check the dimensions for installation, or cabinet size. The cabinet size is the required space that should remain empty in the cabinet under the sink, so that the sink can be easily installed.
