The capacitor relay can be used in installations where the peak current exceeds 100 times the rated rms current.

The contacts are delivered complete with damping resistors and must be used without additional inductances.

The capacitors must be discharged (maximum residual voltage at the terminals ≤ 50 V) before being reactivated during the contact manufacturing.

The electrical endurance is 250,000 operating cycles for Ue 100 A at 440 V 1300 A. cos phi=0.45 (cos phi=0.35 for Ie > 100 A) at 690 V 630 A.

Operating Time:

• Between deactivation of the coil and opening of NO contact: 4 ... 11 ms.
• Until activation of the coil and closing of NO contact: 8 ... 27 ms.
