It sucks quite strongly to the point that it pulls and lifts the edges of the carpet for fun, it just needs very frequent cleaning of the filter to be equally effective every time you use it. The battery has been holding up for a month now and based on the usage we give it, it lasts quite a bit... We haven't sucked up any liquids yet, but I believe it won't have any issues at all... I highly recommend it!

For example, if someone makes a mistake and uses it without a filter (e.g. an elderly person), then the motor gets dust (or debris) and makes noise ready to break.
