Insect repellent, which by creating a protective coating (film) on the surface of plants acts as a repellent and irritant to insects.

It also camouflages the crop from migrating insects by changing the wavelength of light emitted from its surface. The kaolin coating (film), which covers the plants, while allowing photosynthesis, reflects harmful IR and UV radiation preventing sunburn.

When the coating is partially or completely removed by rain, wind, or due to crop growth and there is still a risk of infestation, spraying is repeated.
