Defiance is an exciting open-world online shooter for consoles and PC, set in a future and devastated world. It represents a revolutionary interactive experience, as the game launches simultaneously with the original Syfy series, Defiance, with developments in both mediums influencing each other.

The game combines the intense action of a third-person console shooter with the persistence, scale, and customization of an MMO, while the television series showcases the perspective, story, and drama of a classic science fiction epic.
