    Although I did a first coat with oil before the first wash/use, it ended up not having a smooth surface and the wood started to 'peel' in texture... maybe it needed a second coat of oil?? I don't know... As it is, though, I feel that it doesn't clean well and the crepe dough sticks very easily.
