The 3D Conversion Lens Panasonic VW-CLT1 is a special dual-lens accessory that, when combined with a compatible Panasonic camcorder, captures simultaneous images from the right and left eye for 3D video production.

The right and left images are captured together with a resolution of 960x1080, with a field of view equivalent to 58mm on a 35mm camera. With a focusing capability from 1m to infinity, the lenses share a convergence point of 1.5m—meaning that images recorded closer appear to come out towards you while those further away seem to recede into the distance.

These colorful 3D images can be subsequently displayed at home using a television that employs the parallel method of 3D reproduction.

The 3D Conversion Lens VW-CLT1 is compatible with Panasonic camcorder models HDC-SDT750, HDC-SD900, HDC-TM900, HDC-SD800, and (via the included step-up ring) HDC-SD90 and HDC-TM90.
