There are times when the batteries do not make good contact and you need to adjust them a bit. This is the second bin I have bought. The first one lasted almost 3 years. It has been quite convenient for me. Odors do not escape and on a counter where I occasionally have ants, they do not approach it.

Sometimes it gets stuck and the batteries have to be replaced, which can also lose contact when changing the bag. Ideal bags are those for groceries, the "fifty cents" ones (total height 50 cm including the handle)

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I change the batteries and they can last for 1 month or sometimes 4 months with the same usage. It's annoying to change the battery every month. Sometimes I'm too lazy to change them and I just lift the lid myself. But after 10 days, it may start working again for about 10 days and then stop again. I haven't figured out what's happening. I have two of the same and they behave the same way.

First time buying an automatic trash can! Okay, it's one of the most economical ones! It's very simple in construction. Considering the price, you don't expect something sturdy. In the one month we've been using it (family of 5), it works. Time will tell. Anyway, the fact that you don't touch the bin is very good. I wish it was bigger because it fills up with 4-5 diapers! But if you think about it, generally, you empty a bathroom trash can once a day, so this one covers you!

Helpful bin with the photocell to make things much easier. I just got it to try it out for my kids' diapers, but unfortunately after 6 months it didn't hold the odors at all, so I will resort to a specialized bin. Of course, I didn't have any expectations because it's not intended for such "heavy" odors, but if someone wants it for that purpose, I wouldn't recommend it.

The lid is good. The bin is fake and a different color from the lid. Keep it in one of the available sizes as the elastic that makes up the bin is easily destroyed. Mine arrived torn.

The purchase is not worth it, not even for one euro. It went back to where it came from, terrible construction, dust sticks to the plastic, it never worked, and the buttons are sticky! Also, very small..

Very practical since you don't need to touch it every time to open the lid. I chose it because of limited space and so far it has served me very well compared to the old classic bin in the cabinet.
