    The way to secure the steps requires knowledge and a lot of caution. In order to use it in an L shape, all the steps had to be fully extended; otherwise, an accident is inevitable. As the number of steps increases (10, 12, 14, etc.), depending on the model, the difficulty of home use also increases. Before buying, I suggest you read the instructions for proper use very, very carefully (you can find them on the representative's website) so that you don't end up having to return it as I eventually did.
