An F1 filter must be very lightweight, made from the best raw materials, and enhance performance. Only woven alloys with epoxy coating are used to protect against gasoline fumes and oxidation due to moisture. The filtering material consists of a special cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil for optimal air permeability.

Advanced Technology: BMC's technical staff has developed a production system based on soft rubber molding, which produces the red BMC filters. They are made in a single piece without welded joints at the corners, avoiding the risk of breakage.
