I’ve tried L’Oréal Silver Shampoo and it’s awesome for keeping brassy yellow tones away in blonde, grey, or silver hair. The purple pigments neutralize unwanted warmth and help my hair look cooler and brighter between salon visits. It lathers well, cleans without drying, and leaves my hair softer and shinier. I use it about once a week — more can risk a slight purple tint if left too long. Overall, it’s a solid toning shampoo for cool, fresh-looking hair.

I use it together with the metal detox series and this particular one, even with just 3-4 minutes on the hair, does the job it should. Personally, I haven't dyed my hair for about a year and see how nicely it lightens the blonde in 3-4 minutes on the dyed areas. It looks freshly dyed! Of course, like all silver products, it leaves the hair very dry after washing. Ideally, it needs a mask afterwards. Whenever I don't have time for a mask, I use plenty of oil and it detangles

Very good silver, does a very nice job, and if you use a mask afterwards it doesn't dehydrate the hair. Having tried quite a few silvers, this is by far the best both in terms of quality and price. I highly recommend it

Nice smell and removes the yellowness.. it seemed fine to me but nothing super amazing.. like all the others, this one too..

From what I have tried, it is the best. It doesn't stain the hair or the skin, but even if it does color, it washes out easily. Also, with the washes, the hair lightens a bit more; you essentially feel that by removing the yellow tones, it leaves a more "clean" result. Always in comparison with my hair color, which is a cool sandy. However... a hair mask is essential after use!

Very good shampoo for neutralizing yellow tones. I use it once a week and for the other two washes, I use the other purple shampoo from the same brand (also for neutralizing yellow tones) and I have very good results. My highlights are cool-toned blonde. The only thing is that the silver one, because it is stronger than the purple shampoo, requires a mask and conditioner afterwards because it makes my hair stiff.

The best silver shampoo I have ever used, I think! Not only does it prevent yellow tones, but if you leave it on for more than 5 minutes, it manages to make the blonde look cooler as if you have done a highlight (be careful not to leave it on for too long).
