    Already from the 2nd year of exclusively short-term summer sea use with the corresponding kayak, the plate connecting the tip to the tube broke, and subsequently the plastic tip suddenly broke completely, rendering the paddle completely useless. The repair workaround with a through-bolt for the first damage was in vain. Corresponding paddles from Sevylor remained intact after hard 20-year use.
