It does what it says, it reduces the pressure but also reduces the flow. It is quite durable, but it has a serious drawback: every 1-2 years it needs to be disassembled and unclogged because it gets blocked by limescale or dirt and practically stops the supply completely.

It maintains pressure at 2.5 - 3.5 bar depending on the input pressure, but it has low flow. I couldn't take a shower in a two-story house on the upper floor, so I returned it.

Photo: 3.5 bar with the Farg 480 Easyrid reducer
Photo: Approximately 5 bar without reducer
Therefore, the reducer cuts off the pressure when the faucet is closed.
To perform the same test, place in order: water inlet, reducer, pressure gauge with TAV (tap), switch that you will open and close.

It does exactly what it promises.
    Maintains pressure at 3.5 bar.

Update after six months, the pressure is around 5 bar.

Update after approximately 10 months, my conclusion is that it does not reduce the pressure as promised. What it does reduce is the water flow. Meaning, when you have closed consumption, the pressure remains stable at around 5, but when you open a faucet, the pressure drops dramatically.

It was installed before a solar water heater and reduces the pressure from the network's 6 bar to about 3.5 bar whether the tap is open or closed. It functions exactly like other reducers, except you cannot adjust the pressure. Its durability remains to be proven over time.

    Update after six months:
Now the pressure is 4 and a half. I don't see it lasting for long.

It was installed without any problem in an under-sink home water filter system. It is pre-set by the factory and does not allow for adjustments. However, it is small in size and functions without any issues. It is recommended for anyone who wants a pressure reducer ready for installation and use.

This component is a Dynamic pressure (flow) limiter and not a Static pressure regulator. (If it was a regulator, it would have an adjustment screw). This means that it restricts the flow when the faucet is open, but it does not limit the high pressure (that the network has) when you close the faucet. For example: if your water supplier sends you 6 BAR, and you have installed this component, as soon as you open the faucet, the pressure will drop to 3 BAR, but as soon as you close it, it will go back up to 6 BAR. In other words, it does not protect you from the high static pressure that causes damage. Static pressure regulators have a different shape and of course, a screw for adjusting the desired pressure. As a flow limiter (Dynamic pressure), it works perfectly for 2 years, it's just not what I needed. So be careful not to make the same mistake as me... -3 stars due to the description.
