It does what it promises. You have to put the machine's "bowl" in the freezer for 12 hours, make the mixture you want and ideally put it in the fridge to chill as well. Then, while the mechanism is turning, you pour the mixture you have made through the slot. In about 30 minutes, it makes the ready ice cream mixture. I put this mixture in another storage container and clean the machine's bowl so it can go back in the freezer. At first, I tried using 15% cream, but while it's good as a sorbet ice cream with fruit, it's not good for vanilla ice cream, for example. You need to experiment until you find nice ice cream recipes. For me, it's worth the money

Unfortunately, it does not freeze the ice cream at all outside the freezer as it promises. Essentially, it is a container with heavy cooling liquid but without value, as it freezes on the edges but not internally if you don't put it in the freezer, which essentially cancels the role of the ice cream maker. The way I already made ice cream with a mixer for two hours of freezing without this was and is much easier.
