With sufficient use, it even eliminated the smell of mouse droppings near the cabin filter of a car that had been stationary for 14 years. I sprayed the AC vents and all the spots that mice had access to, repeating the process.

I have also used this particular product inside the house, as pets and odors go hand in hand.

I didn't have any unpleasant smell in the car, I just bought it as an air freshener like I had bought a similar product from Meguiar's with a new car scent. This one has a scent similar to Meguiar's and acts as a softener, but unfortunately, you spray it and the scent instantly disappears. It may be intended only for odor elimination, but as an air freshener, unfortunately, it doesn't work. Additionally, two major negatives are that once it dries, it leaves a "slime" on the carpet as if it's sticky, and then more dirt will stick to it, and I think it smells a bit "sour." (the car is brand new - straight out of the box)
