I've only had it for a month but it's quite user-friendly. It has cut my ironing time in half. I use deionized water so it hasn't asked me for descaling yet. Its steam is a bit strange but I guess that's how it's supposed to work. The instructions say to press for at least 2 seconds continuously, and as I do, it suddenly releases a lot of steam, while at other times none at all. It doesn't bother me though because it works when I need it. It's an iron that doesn't have a back part and doesn't stand upright but always lies flat. I've had it for a short time so I can't judge fully, but I believe it won't burn my ironing board cover. Also, it doesn't have a temperature button depending on the fabric you're using; it has automatic fabric recognition, though I have no idea how. It definitely hasn't burned any clothes so far. I would buy it again!

It doesn't leave clothes completely 'starched', which some may prefer, but the temperature adjusts automatically and very quickly to any fabric.

I like the light weight and that it doesn't stick to clothes.. However, if you are used to continuous steam, you will find the steam a bit low.. It falls in a concentrated way (which then irons well) only when you make a shot that takes a little while to react!

I have been using this iron for my house for a year now. It's perfect, you can imagine that I even bought a second one for my daughter-in-law. The great difference is in this iron's descaling feature, it's simple and effortless.

Very comfortable to use, as you can leave the iron horizontally on the ironing board. Satisfactory steam for the usual clothes of a family.
Eco button with less steam (very useful for delicate clothes to avoid dampness), turbo button with more steam (for thick clothes like jeans). The eco and turbo buttons are not available on all models of the compact series.
The salt cleaning system is very practical.
Possible negatives for some:
The steam transfer hose from the boiler to the iron is a bit small for a large ironing board and left-handed users. There is no problem for right-handed users or regular-sized ironing boards.
For heavily wrinkled clothes or large clothes that require intense, continuous steam, such as bed sheets, the steam may not be sufficient for some people and they may need one of the more powerful (and of course more expensive) models.
Personally, for our family's needs, this particular model is more than enough.
I cannot judge the reliability because the purchase is very recent, but my previous compact series steam iron from Philips, with exactly the same capabilities, continues to function normally for 6-7 years. I bought the new one for another family member.

Πολύ ξεκούραστο για το χέρι το ν αφήνεις το σίδερο οριζόντιο πάνω στο ύφασμα της σιδερώστρας. Ικανοποιητικός ατμός για τα συνήθη ρούχα μιας οικογένειας.
Κουμπί eco με λιγότερο ατμό (πολύ χρήσιμο στα λεπτά ρούχα για να μην γίνονται μούσκεμα), κουμπί turbo με περισσότερο ατμό (για τα χοντρά ρούχα τύπου τζιν). Τα κουμπιά eco και turbo δεν υπάρχουν σ όλα τα μοντέλα της σειράς compact.

Its steam is a bit strange but I guess that's how it's supposed to work. The instructions say to press for at least 2 seconds continuously, and as I do, it suddenly releases a lot of steam, while at other times none at all. It doesn't bother me though because it works when I need it. It's an iron that doesn't have a back part and doesn't stand upright but always lies flat. I've had it for a short time so I can't judge fully, but I believe it won't burn my ironing board cover. Also, it doesn't have a temperature button depending on the fabric you're using; it has automatic fabric recognition, though I have no idea how. It definitely hasn't burned any clothes so far. I would buy it again!
Το έχω μόλις ενα μηνα αλλα είναι αρκετά εύχρηστο. Έχει μειώσει το χρονο σιδερώματος μου στο μισό. Χρησιμοποιώ απιονισμενο νερο οπότε ακόμη δεν μου έχει ζητήσει να του κάνω αφαλάτωση. Ο ατμός του είναι λιγάκι περιεργος αλλα μαλλον αυτή είναι η χρήση του. Στις οδηγίες λεει τουλάχιστον 2 δευτερόλεπτα συνεχομενα πάτημα κ όπως το πατάω βγάζει απότομα πολυ ατμο ενώ ανά στιγμές καθολου. Δεν με ενοχλεί όμως γιατί βγάζει όταν το χρειάζομαι. Ειναι σίδερο που δεν έχει πίσω μέρος και δεν στέκεται όρθιο αλλα μόνιμα ξαπλωμένο. Το έχω λίγο καιρό για να κρίνω αλλα πιστεύω δεν θα μου κάψει το σιδεροπανο. Επίσης δεν έχει κουμπί έντασης ανάλογα το ύφασμα που κάνεις χρήση, έχει αυτόματη αναγνώριση υφάσματος, δεν έχω ιδέα πως. Σιγουρα δεν μου έχει καψει ρούχο έως τωρα. Θα το ξαναπαιρνα!
One year later and it's like new! The previous one was from another company and there are differences both in construction and in operation! At least for the use we make of it, it covers us sufficiently.. it is excellent!
ένα χρόνο μετά κ είναι σαν καινούργιο! το προηγούμενο ήταν άλλης εταιρείας κ υπάρχουν διαφορές κ στη κατασκευή κ στη λειτουργία! τουλάχιστον για τη χρήση που κανουνευεμειςυ,μας καλύπτει επαρκώς..είναι εξαιρετικό!
Unfortunately, I hadn't noticed that it doesn't have a continuous steam function and it took me quite some time to get used to it. Considering the price, I think it is a satisfactory iron. It doesn't leave clothes completely 'starched', which some may prefer, but the temperature adjusts automatically and very quickly to any fabric.
Δυστυχώς δεν είχα προσέξει ότι δεν διαθέτει λειτουργία συνεχόμενου ατμού και χρειάστηκε αρκετός καιρός για να το συνηθίσω. Σε σχέση με την τιμή θεωρώ είναι ένα ικανοποιητικό σίδερο. Δεν τα αφήνει τελείως«κολλαριστά», που ίσως προτιμούν κάποιοι, αλλά η θερμοκρασία προσαρμόζεται αυτόματα και πολύ γρήγορα σε οποιοδήποτε ύφασμα.
