As everyone says, very good for the money. Very good in weight and quality. I noticed a difference in shaving.

I have no words. The others have already said it anyway. I may despise Gillette for its outrageous prices on ProGlide replacement blades, but this is the best value for money out there.

Very, very good, especially for the money, it has no rival! At this price (12 euros), such precision in shaving and build quality are a plus! It is a little heavy, the only downside, but after a few uses you get used to it

As a handle, it could have a textured surface along its entire length for better grip... but this is not something important enough to lose a star.

After just 2-3 shaves, you easily learn how to handle it and the final result comes very close to the expensive commercial razors. Overall, you need a little more time but nothing dramatic. It helps a lot when there is enough moisture in the foam, because there is no lubricating strip like other razors have.

The blades included in the package are not the best on the market but each one gives me 10 shaves. I read in other comments that with other blades the result is even better. We are not even talking about cost... there the difference is huge, and it is the main reason why buying this type of razor is worth it.

Returning to the 'old school' shaving way to save on cost. Perhaps it's from experience and this razor style, had a decent first shave with no cuts.

I also ordered 100 of the 'green' astra blades via skroutz as these are recommended for people with sensitive skin!

A simple razor. Poetic and sturdy. The blades it comes with are just okay. They don't last long and don't cut very well.

The best choice for anyone who wants to start traditional shaving, the shave this razor gives cannot be matched by Mach 3, Pro Glide, etc. Today I did my first shave with it combined with foam (until I learn how to shave with this razor) Noxzema yellow and Old Spice Wolfthorn aftershave, the skin is just incredibly soft. Give yourself time to transition from plastic razors to this one and I promise you will be amazed at how well it shaves. I received it the day before yesterday. I should note that for the past few years I have been shaving with Gillette Mach3. Yesterday afternoon I decided to try shaving with this. I used the blades that came with it (I didn't have any others anyway) and a classic white Noxzema foam. I must admit, I did not expect the result. UNBELIEVABLE shave, much more comfortable and safer than I expected. No cuts, no redness, no irritation... nothing. Even my wife, when she saw me, noticed the difference on my face compared to the Mach3. I should mention that I don't have a lot of beard and I would say my beard is rather soft. It seems to me that the Mach3 will stay in the cupboard for a long time.

For its price, it is by far the best choice, with Astor blades it shaves very well. Lightweight, sturdy, quality construction and easy to handle, but perhaps its head may not suit those who want a very close shave with few passes. However, it certainly does its job very well and is the best choice for beginners like me, fully satisfied

Very good and high-quality machine, I wouldn't say the same about the blades, but with a choice of good blades you can do wonders.

My barber recommended it to me compared to other commercial ones that have 3, 4, or 5 blades. In the end, it really is all about marketing as he told me. This particular one, even though it has only one blade, is extremely good. You change the blade when you feel that it doesn't cut the hair but 'pulls' it, and everything is fine, it's like new again.

I hadn't used a safety razor for about 14.5 years. Unfortunately, the one I had previously was lost during a move, and since then I never got around to replacing it. Until the moment I happened to see this particular Gillette one in an advertisement. And because, coincidentally, the lost razor was a vintage Gillette, I decided to buy it.

For the money, it might be the best thing someone can buy if they want to try a safety razor. Sturdy construction and with sharp blades like Feather, it does a very good job.

I can say that for a beginner it is good, but it needs to change blades because its own do not cut at all, I recommend the feather or perma sharp, it does not give a close shave even with these blades and even if you shave against the grain, I am thinking of changing it and getting this time some open type, Finally, when I go to shave the underside of the neck, it requires quite a few passes

Just received it now.....the first impression is positive.....the shaver is sturdy and not made of light metal as I initially feared....I will come back in the next few days to share my impressions on its shaving performance....

Nice razor. Bad blades. I combine it with Astor from BIC and the result is very smooth. Minimal to zero redness. After 6 months of use, it has a few rust marks where it screws in, so when you finish shaving make sure you dry it well.

I give 5 stars so as not to unfairly judge the safety razor. Easy to use, easy to clean, the double edge helps in utilizing the entire blade. On the other hand, I believe that Gillette blades do not cut hair as easily as other brands, wear out faster, and I feel they cause irritation to my skin.

My first razor, I bought it to try this shaving method. Very beautiful but also very soft, you don't cut yourself at all but it takes effort to shave. For its price, I can say it's worth it but I wouldn't recommend it to someone to buy. I believe that for anyone who wants to start, there are two options, the Rockwell 6c or the Muhle R 89 which is similar, and if you want something sharper, just attach the head of the R41 and you're ready. Now, as much as I want to use it, I have it almost permanently on the side.

First of all, I have an Indian razor of medium aggressiveness that shaves me smoothly with Astra blades, which I use, and with Feather for an even better shave. I decided to try a milder one and got the Gillette... after two shaves with Astra blades on a two-day beard, I took longer to shave due to repeated passes. I also tried sharper blades and it worked better. My conclusion is that it is only for daily beards and for experts... it only works with sharp blades for up to two shaves at most, after the third shave it shaves as if you have used a mild blade.
