Placed in pci-e x1 slot, powered by the second slot of the hard drive, installed driver from the accompanying cd, (although I think it was not necessary because the drivers were up to win8) everything worked perfectly. Connected 2 external hard drives + 1 hub with 2 flash drives. Transfer speed from hard drive to pc 110-120, between hard drives 75-90. Immediate device recognition. It used to drive me crazy with recognition at first, and the transfer was a tragedy. Excellent.
