  • It fit perfectly on a Sabertooth 990FX motherboard, powered by SATA and did not require drivers from the accompanying CD, it was recognized immediately. I don't know why for some people it didn't work properly. Personally, I reached speeds up to 90MB/s and I am completely satisfied.

It never worked. It needs power from the power supply. It needs drivers from the included CD.

In three years it gave up. And I thought the keyboard (Corsair K70 RGB) with two USB cables was broken. It also does not include a power cable.

  • Connected to pc with usb2. Placed in pci-e x1 slot, powered by the second slot of the hard drive, installed driver from the accompanying cd, (although I think it was not necessary because the drivers were up to win8) everything worked perfectly. Connected 2 external hard drives + 1 hub with 2 flash drives. Transfer speed from hard drive to pc 110-120, between hard drives 75-90. Immediate device recognition. It used to drive me crazy with recognition at first, and the transfer was a tragedy. Excellent.

  • In Windows 10, in order for it to work, it requires the installation of the drivers from the provided CD, as well as a power supply. The good thing is that it accepts power from both IDE and SATA. It upgraded a refurbished PC from 2012 and we saw speeds of up to 130mb/s in combination with an SSD drive.

It works perfectly but be careful:
    1. It requires power supply.
    2. There is no driver for WIN10 but it works with the one provided on the CD.
    3. It is USB 3.0. If you need higher speed, look for something else.

You put it on the PCI slot and then connect either a SATA cable or a Molex.
