easy connection with nova sim, great connection, 20 days no interruption, everything is fine.. they put it through 150 meters of cable so the outdoor camera can have wifi, for now it works perfectly..

When you know exactly what you're buying and how to place it.
And I explain:
1) It does NOT work for three-phase power if the phases that the two parts of the KIT will be connected to are different. In these cases, you need something that utilizes grounding. Expensive devices like Devolo, for example.
2) There are devices that create "noise" in the electrical network, such as various transformers or high-power mobile chargers. Don't place it near them.
3) Power strips and such are strictly prohibited. Directly into the socket.
4) One last thing. If your house is from 1920 and the copper has turned green from oxidation, it's not the device's fault for lower performance than expected.

Όταν γνωρίζεις τι ακριβώς αγοράζεις και πως να το τοποθετήσεις.
Και εξηγώ:
1) ΔΕΝ κάνει για τριφασικό ρεύμα αν οι φάσεις που θα συνδεθούν τα δύο κομμάτια του ΚΙΤ είναι διαφορετικές. Σε αυτές τις περιπτώσεις χρειάζεστε κάποιο που αξιοποιεί τη γείωση. Τα ακριβά Devolo πχ.
2) Υπάρχουν συσκευές που δημιουργούν "θόρυβο" στο ηλεκτρικό δίκτυο, πχ διάφοροι μετασχηματιστές ή φορτιστές κινητών υψηλής ισχύος. Μην το βάζετε κοντά.
3) Πολύπριζα και τέτοια απαγορεύονται δια ροπάλου. Απευθείας στη πρίζα.
4) Κάτι τελευταίο. Αν το σπίτι σας είναι του 1920 και ο χαλκός έχει γίνει πράσινος από την οξείδωση, δε φταίει η συσκευή για χαμηλότερη απόδοση από το αναμενόμενο.
Generally it works. What I still don't understand after 2 years (and even though it had given me some problems in the past) is why I have to unplug and then plug back in the wifi receiver every 2 days. Every time the signal is lost, I know this is what I have to do. Then it works normally.

Στέλνω internet από τον 4ο όροφο πολυκατοικίας στην αποθήκη στο υπόγειο και η χρήση που του κάνω είναι για να streamάρει όλο το 24ωρο βίντεο από τις ασύρματες κάμερες ασφαλείας που βάλαμε στη πολυκατοικία. Η εφαρμογή που έχει είναι απαραίτητη για να βλέπετε την ταχύτητα και για να απενεργοποιήσετε τη λειτουργία εξοικονόμησης ενέργειας που το απενεργοποιεί τακτικά και προκαλεί αποσυνδέσεις.

We always talk about the "TP-LINK TL-WPA4226KIT v5" kit, which of course is labeled as "TL-WPA4220 5.0" in its settings (in the tpPLC application or in the web interface).
- It was purchased to provide a reliable and more stable signal in a 55 sqm house of Γ shape. WiFi repeaters did the job, but they are not as stable.
- Very simple settings, only the pair buttons on the main and daughter devices needed to be pressed the first time. The whole house is covered by WiFi. Very stable connection, firmware update was also done.
There are some minor speed losses: in a 33 Mbps connection, the daughter device gives 29, when a dual band TP Link WiFi repeater gave more or less the same. Only on the first day, it had a glitch but I unplugged and plugged it back in and since then it has been very stable.
It goes without saying that these devices must be plugged directly into the socket, not into splitters or power strips. That's why if you don't have plenty of sockets, a passthrough device is definitely needed (meaning it provides the socket, it doesn't occupy it). In this model, the main device is passthrough, but the daughter device is not.
Because another daughter device was needed - but it had to be passthrough - to connect to a computer via Ethernet (so WiFi was not needed), the "TP-LINK TL-PA7017P v4" was also purchased. It's a different product. Since the powerline network was already set up, it didn't need anything. It was plugged into the socket and immediately provided perfect internet to the PC. So at any time, you can buy any single device (even if it's not the same model) and expand the network. The only requirement is that it supports the Homeplug AV and/or Homeplug AV2 protocol, which is true for the majority of TP-Link products currently available. I read somewhere that you can also use devices from other brands (e.g. Devolo, DLink), but I wouldn't try it.
It is questionable whether it can cover a large house. Probably not, I believe more devices are needed. It is also questionable whether it can work well in a multi-story house, as well as what exactly happens in a three-phase power supply.

Άριστο προϊόν.
Μιλάμε πάντα για το kit "TP-LINK TL-WPA4226KIT v5", το οποίο βέβαια στις ρυθμίσεις του αναγράφει (στην εφαρμογή tpPLC ή στο web interface) "TL-WPA4220 5.0".
- Αγοράστηκε για να δώσει αξιόπιστο και πιο σταθερό σήμα σε σπίτι 55 τ.μ. σχήματος Γ. Τα WiFi repeater έκαναν μεν δουλειά, αλλά δεν είναι τόσο σταθερά.
- Από ρυθμίσεις πολύ απλό, μόνο την 1η φορά χρειάστηκε να πατηθούν τα pair κουμπιά στη μητρική και τη θυγατρική συσκευή. Από WiFi καλύφθηκε όλο το σπίτι. Πολύ σταθερή σύνδεση, έγινε και firmware update.
Υπάρχουν κάποιες μικρές απώλειες ταχύτητας: σε σύνδεση 33 Mbps το θυγατρικό δίνει 29, όταν ένα dual band TP Link WiFi repeater έδινε πάνω κάτω τα ίδια. Μόνο την 1η μέρα είχε ένα κόλλημα αλλά το έβγαλα και το ξαναέβαλα στην πρίζα και από τότε είναι πολύ σταθερό.
Αυτονόητο ότι οι συσκευές αυτές οπωσδήποτε μπαίνουν απευθείας στην πρίζα, όχι σε διακλαδωτές και πολύπριζα. Γι'αυτό αν δεν έχετε αφθονία πριζών, χρειάζεται οπωσδήποτε passthrough συσκευή (να δίνει την πρίζα δηλαδή, να μην την καταλαμβάνει). Σε αυτό το μοντέλο, η μητρική συσκευή είναι passthrough, η θυγατρική όμως όχι.
Επειδή χρειαζόταν άλλη μία θυγατρική συσκευή -που όμως να είναι passthrough- για να συνδεθεί με ethernet σε υπολογιστή (άρα δεν χρειαζόταν WiFi), αγοράστηκε και το "TP-LINK TL-PA7017P v4". Άλλο προϊόν δηλαδή. Το οποίο, έχοντας ήδη φτιάξει το powerline δίκτυο, δεν χρειάστηκε τίποτα. Μπήκε στην πρίζα και αμέσως έδινε τέλειο internet στο PC. Άρα ανά πάσα στιγμή μπορείς να αγοράσεις οποιαδήποτε μονή συσκευή (και ας μην είναι το ίδιο μοντέλο) και να επεκτείνεις το δίκτυο. Μόνη προϋπόθεση να υποστηρίζει το πρωτόκολλο Homeplug AV ή/και το Homeplug AV2, κάτι το οποίο ισχύει για τη μεγάλη πλειοψηφία των προϊόντων της TP-Link που κυκλοφορούν πλέον. Κάπου διάβασα ότι μπορείς να βάλεις και από άλλες μάρκες (π.χ. Devolo, DLink), δεν θα το δοκίμαζα όμως.
Ερωτηματικό είναι το αν μπορεί να καλυφθεί ένα μεγάλο σπίτι. Μάλλον όχι, χρειάζονται πιστεύω περισσότερες συσκευές. Επίσης ερωτηματικό είναι το αν μπορεί να λειτουργήσει καλά σε σπίτι με ορόφους, όπως και το τί ακριβώς συμβαίνει σε τριφασικό ρεύμα.
It does exactly what it promises. It has an easy installation, but for someone unfamiliar with technology, if something goes wrong, I believe they will have a hard time with the settings. It connects with other Powerline devices from the same company and is easily managed through an application (android and pc). With a software update, it had a significant increase in performance. Depending on the room, wiring, and distance, its performance may vary. Overall, for its price and the internet speeds we currently have in Greece, it's great.
Κάνει ακριβώς αυτό που υπόσχεται. Έχει εύκολη εγκατάσταση αλλά για κάποιον μη εξοικιωμένο με την τεχνολογία, αν κάτι πάει στραβά πιστεύω θα τα βρει σκούρα στις ρυθμίσεις. Συνδέεται μαζί με άλλα Powerline της ίδιας εταιρίας και διαχειρίζεται πολύ εύκολα μέσω εφαρμογής(android Και pc). Με update στο λογισμικό του είχε σημαντική αύξηση απόδοσης. Ανάλογα το δωμάτιο, την καλωδίωση και την απόσταση διαφέρει η απόδοσή του. Γενικά για τα χρήματά του και για τις ταχύτητες Internet Που έχουμε μέχρι στιγμής στην Ελλάδα είναι μια χαρά.
Not even 1 year later (11 months), suddenly instead of getting 30mbps, I started getting 9 without any reason. And it definitely isn't a problem with my line because another computer directly connected to the router has no internet issues.
Ούτε 1 χρόνο μετά (11 μήνες), ξαφνικά αντί για 30mbps που έπιανα, άρχισα να πιάνω 9 χωρίς κανέναν λόγω. Και σίγουρα δεν είναι θέμα της γραμμής μου γιατί άλλος υπολογιστής συνδεδεμένος απευθείας στο ρούτερ δεν έχει κανένα θέμα με το ίντερνετ.
Both this kit and two other tl-wpa4220 v4 were installed to replicate the SSID of the router in a guesthouse in order to have sufficient signal in all rooms.
So far, so good. I followed the instructions and set everything up as needed. Everything is working perfectly. I will provide feedback from the owner after the season...

Μέχρι στιγμής όλα καλά. Ακολούθησα τις οδηγίες και τα έστησα όπως έπρεπε. Όλα δουλεύουν κομπλέ. Θα επανέλθω μετά τη σεζόν με τα σχόλια του ιδιοκτήτη...

Perfect. However, be careful as it may have issues if you plug it into a power strip. The main end that I plugged into a power strip with a safety fuse worked fine, but the other end that I plugged into a power strip randomly disconnected as soon as I connected my PC to another socket.
I confirm that it works on a 3-phase system with different phases. Its WiFi is quite strong (stronger than an average Cosmote speedport router). It's worth every penny!
Αψογο. Προσοχή ομως, παιζει να έχει θεματα αμα το βαλετε σε πολυμπριζο. Την βασικη ακρη που την εβαλα σε πολυμπριζο ασφαλειας επαιξε κανονικα αλλα την αλλη ακρη που την εβαλα σε πολυμπριζο οτι ναναι (ταφακι) με το που συνεδεα pc πανω σε αλλη υποδοχη αποσυχρονιζε.
Επιβεβαιωνω ότι παιζει σε 3φασικο σε διαφορετικες φασεις. Το wifi του αρκετα δυνατο (πιο δυνατο απο ενος μεσου ρουτερ speedport της Cosmote). Αξίζει όλα τα λεφτα!
I have it here for two months. While the socket worked perfectly, the Wi-Fi device had many issues with signal loss or low power. Without an upgrade to a 100 Mbps line, you won't have a good and stable signal. And I'm not referring to a two-story house, maisonette, stairs, basement, etc., but to a regular apartment. Anyway, does the connection not have interruptions and then, after the line upgrade, I have a satisfactory signal in all rooms (as long as not 5 devices are connected simultaneously...)?
Το έχω εδώ και δύο μήνες. Ενώ η πρίζα λειτούργησε άψογα, η συσκευή wi fi είχε πολλά θέματα απώλειας ή χαμηλής ισχύς του σήματος. Χωρίς αναβάθμιση σε 100άρα γραμμή δεν πρόκειται να έχετε καλό και σταθερό σήμα. Και δεν αναφέρομαι σε διόρωφο σπίτι, μεζονέτα, σκάλες, υπόγεια κλπ, αλλά σε κανονικό διαμέρισμα. Πάντως η σύνδεση δεν κάνει διακοπές και μετά; την αναβάθμιση της γραμμής έχω ικανοποιητικό σήμα σε όλα τα δωμάτια (αρκέι να μην είναι συνδεδεμένες 5 συσκευές ταυτοχρόνως...)
Very good, easy to install (powerlines do not work in power strips, so you need to use a suko to plug it in there).. I have had it for 1 year and it has served me well.. I face issues when I overload it with devices like 2 mobile phones, a PC, and my Xiaomi TV box, it disconnects sometimes, which is understandable considering its technology.

Excellent! It connected immediately just by pairing the two devices... with a distance of 20 meters and 3 walls in between (router/adapter and extender), I get a strong signal in my room.
In the network (100 Mbps), I have connected: a smart TV, 2 laptops, 3 mobile phones, and a desktop PC playing an online FPS game with a stable ping of 55ms.
If this isn't value for money, then I don't know what is!
Εξαιρετικό! Συνδέθηκε αμέσως μόνο με pairing τις δυο συσκευες.. με απόσταση 20 μέτρα και 3 τοίχους στο ενδιάμεσο (router/adapter και extender) πιάνω σήμα καμπάνα στο δωμάτιο μου.
Στο δίκτυο (100αρα) είναι συνδεδεμένα: μία smart TV, 2 laptop, 3 κινητα τηλ και σταθερό pc που παίζει online fps game και το ms ειναι σταθερο στο 55ms.
UNIQUE!! From the ground floor, I have internet (wifi) with excellent speed (slightly lower, of course) on the 2nd floor where before I had absolutely no trace of wifi! Excellent in every aspect!
ΑΝΕΠΑΝΆΛΗΠΤΟ!! Από το ισόγειο έχω ίντερνετ (wifi) με εξαιρετική ταχύτητα (ελαφρώς πιο χαμηλή σαφώς) στον 2ο όροφο που πριν δεν είχα κατά διάνοια ούτε ίχνος του wifi! Εξαιρετικό από κάθε άποψη!
After 1.5 years of using it, it started disconnecting and today, after almost 2 years of use, it doesn't connect to anything...
I had a similar problem with a previous TP-Link powerline in the past.
Μετά από 1,5 χρόνο που το έχω άρχισε να αποσυνδέεται και σήμερα μετά από σχεδόν 2 χρόνια χρήσης δεν συνδέεται με τίποτα...

I had a 50 Mbps internet connection and I could barely reach 12 Mbps.
I made the mistake out of ignorance and initially plugged it into a power strip.
I run the test, it shows 10.5 Mbps.
I felt like crying because I thought it was another failed purchase to increase the speed.
I realize what I have done, I change the plug and directly connect it to the wall.
I start running the test. And it shows a speed of 49 Mbps.
I had never seen such speed even though I paid for it for a year.
I kept my hopes low in case it drops again in the next few days, but no, it works fine, I would say even better than before, as I have seen it go up to 55-60 Mbps.
It has disconnected 2 or 3 times in a quarter.
Which I don't consider very serious, as before the disconnections were 2-3 per hour.
The truth is, I have been reading about powerline for years and I thought they were exaggerating, that's why I was hesitant to spend money to buy one. However, I was wrong.
Only one "drawback", which is not serious.
After a power outage, all the LEDs turn on and because it's in a bedroom, I have to turn them off from the app. A funny drawback, really.

Είχα 50αρα γραμμή και έπιανα με το ζόρι 12.
Έκανα το λάθος από αφηρημάδα και αρχικά το έβαλα σε πολύμπριζο.
Κανω το τεστ, βγαζει 10,5.
Μου ήρθε να βάλω τα κλάματα γιατί λέω άλλη μία αποτυχημένη αγορά για να ανεβάσω την ταχύτητα.
Συνειδητοποιώ τι έχω κάνει, αλλάζω πρίζα και το βάζω απευθείας στον τοίχο.
Ξεκινάω να κάνω το τεστ. Και δείχνει ταχύτητα 49.
Δεν είχα ξαναδεί τέτοια ταχύτητα παρόλο που την πλήρωνα ένα χρόνο.
Κράτησα μικρό καλάθι μήπως τις επόμενες μέρες πέσει ξανά, αλλά όχι, λειτουργεί κανονικά μην σας πω και καλύτερα από την αρχή μιας και έχω δει να ανεβαίνει και στο 55-60.
Αποσυνδέσεις μου έχει κάνει 2 ή 3 φορές μεσα σε ένα τρίμηνο.
Πράγμα που δεν το θεωρώ πολύ σοβαρό, καθώς πριν οι αποσυνδέσεις ήταν 2-3 την ώρα.
Η αλήθεια είναι ότι χρόνια τώρα διάβαζα για τα powerline και νόμιζα ότι ήταν υπερβολικοί και γι αυτό ήμουν διστακτική να δώσω χρήματα για να αγοράσω ένα. Ωστόσο έκανα λάθος.
Ένα "μειονέκτημα" μόνο, το οποίο δεν είναι σοβαρό.
Μετά από διακοπή ρεύματος, ανάβουν όλα τα Ledακια και επειδή είναι σε υπνοδωμάτιο πρέπει να τα σβήνω από την εφαρμογή. Αστείο μειονέκτημα, πραγματικά.
Από τις πλέον value for money αγορές που έχω κάνει.
Very good and reliable product, but unfortunately it can easily become dysfunctional due to other factors.
My experience is sufficient since I have purchased two such sets (in different houses, on different floors) and I can say that they now function consistently and flawlessly. Many report disconnections and they are right. What I have noticed is that in most cases, the disconnections are due to user errors or issues with the electrical system of the house.
1. These two devices should be plugged directly into the socket, without using any other power strips, etc.
2. You should try different sockets because it doesn't work perfectly in every case. For example, in my case, when I plugged it into an "external" wall socket, it would disconnect every two hours. Eventually, it turned out that the issue was with the specific wall because it had recently been exposed to a lot of moisture. When I plugged it into another socket in the same room (but this time an internal wall), it worked perfectly without any disconnections.
3. In the case of different floors, the two devices should be placed as close to each other as possible from a vertical perspective, not one at the bottom end of the house and the other at the top end.
4. It is logical for some disconnections to occur less frequently, so restarting once a week helps.
5. If the disconnection problem persists, what others suggest here regarding the firmware might help. In my case, I never needed anything like that.
Overall, it is a set that has successfully solved my coverage and internet speed problem. Stability, maximum speed, and high range.
Πολύ καλό και αξιόπιστο προϊόμ, αλλά δυστυχώς εύκολα μπορεί να γίνει δυσλειτουργικό εξαιτίας άλλων παραγόντων.
Η εμπειρία μου είναι αρκετή αφού έχω πάρει δύο τέτοια σετ (σε διαφορετικά σπίτια, σε διαφορετικούς ορόφους) και μπορώ να πω ότι πλέον λειτουργούν σταθερά και άψογα. Πολλοί αναφέρουν αποσυνδέσεις κι έχουν δίκιο. Αυτό που είδα εγώ είναι ότι στις περισσότερες των περιπτώσεων οι αποσυνδέσεις οφείλονται σε λάθη του χρήστη ή του ηλεκτρικού συστήματος του σπιτιού.
1. Πρέπει αυτές οι δύο συσκευές να πηγαίνουν απευθείας στην πρίζα, χωρίς να μεσολαβούν άλλα πολύπριζα κλπ.
2. Πρέπει να δοκιμάζετε διάφορες πρίζες γιατί δεν λειτουργεί τέλεια σε κάθε περίπτωση. Ας πούμε στην δική μου, όταν το έβαλα σε πρίζα "εξωτερικού" τοίχου, αποσυνδεόταν κάθε δύο ώρες. Τελικά έφταιγε το σημείο γιατί ήταν τοίχος που είχε δεχτεί πολλή υγρασία πρόσφατα. Όταν το έβαλα σε άλλη πρίζα στο ίδιο δωμάτιο (αλλά αυτή τη φορα εσωτερικός τοίχος) δούλευε άψογα, χωρίς αποσυνδέσεις.
3. Σε περίπτωση διαφορετικών ορόφων, πρέπει οι δύο συσκευές να είναι όσο πιο κοντα γίνεται από κατακόρυφης άποψης, όχι η μία στην μία κάτω άκρη του σπιτιού και η δεύτερη στην άλλη πάνω άκρη του σπιτιού.
4. Είναι λογικό να κάνει πιο αραιά κάποιες αποσυνδέσεις, για αυτό μία π.χ. φορά την εβδομάδα μία επανεκκίνηση βοηθάει.
5. Αν πάλι παραμένει το πρόβλημα των αποσυνδέσεων, αυτά που προτείνουν άλλοι εδώ για το firmware ίσως βοηθήσουν. Στην περίπτωσή μου δεν χρειάστηκε ποτέ τίποτα τέτοιο.
Γενικά, είναι ένα σετ που μου έχει λύσει το πρόβλημα κάλυψης και ταχύτητας ίντερνετ με απόλυτη επιτυχία. Σταθερότητα, μέγιστη ταχύτητα, και υψηλή εμβέλεια.

1) It does NOT work for three-phase power if the phases that the two parts of the KIT will be connected to are different. In these cases, you need something that utilizes grounding. Expensive devices like Devolo, for example.
2) There are devices that create "noise" in the electrical network, such as various transformers or high-power mobile chargers. Don't place it near them.
3) Power strips and such are strictly prohibited. Directly into the socket.
4) One last thing. If your house is from 1920 and the copper has turned green from oxidation, it's not the device's fault for lower performance than expected.

Όταν γνωρίζεις τι ακριβώς αγοράζεις και πως να το τοποθετήσεις.
Και εξηγώ:
1) ΔΕΝ κάνει για τριφασικό ρεύμα αν οι φάσεις που θα συνδεθούν τα δύο κομμάτια του ΚΙΤ είναι διαφορετικές. Σε αυτές τις περιπτώσεις χρειάζεστε κάποιο που αξιοποιεί τη γείωση. Τα ακριβά Devolo πχ.
2) Υπάρχουν συσκευές που δημιουργούν "θόρυβο" στο ηλεκτρικό δίκτυο, πχ διάφοροι μετασχηματιστές ή φορτιστές κινητών υψηλής ισχύος. Μην το βάζετε κοντά.
3) Πολύπριζα και τέτοια απαγορεύονται δια ροπάλου. Απευθείας στη πρίζα.
4) Κάτι τελευταίο. Αν το σπίτι σας είναι του 1920 και ο χαλκός έχει γίνει πράσινος από την οξείδωση, δε φταίει η συσκευή για χαμηλότερη απόδοση από το αναμενόμενο.
Generally it works. What I still don't understand after 2 years (and even though it had given me some problems in the past) is why I have to unplug and then plug back in the wifi receiver every 2 days. Every time the signal is lost, I know this is what I have to do. Then it works normally.

Στέλνω internet από τον 4ο όροφο πολυκατοικίας στην αποθήκη στο υπόγειο και η χρήση που του κάνω είναι για να streamάρει όλο το 24ωρο βίντεο από τις ασύρματες κάμερες ασφαλείας που βάλαμε στη πολυκατοικία. Η εφαρμογή που έχει είναι απαραίτητη για να βλέπετε την ταχύτητα και για να απενεργοποιήσετε τη λειτουργία εξοικονόμησης ενέργειας που το απενεργοποιεί τακτικά και προκαλεί αποσυνδέσεις.

We always talk about the "TP-LINK TL-WPA4226KIT v5" kit, which of course is labeled as "TL-WPA4220 5.0" in its settings (in the tpPLC application or in the web interface).
- It was purchased to provide a reliable and more stable signal in a 55 sqm house of Γ shape. WiFi repeaters did the job, but they are not as stable.
- Very simple settings, only the pair buttons on the main and daughter devices needed to be pressed the first time. The whole house is covered by WiFi. Very stable connection, firmware update was also done.
There are some minor speed losses: in a 33 Mbps connection, the daughter device gives 29, when a dual band TP Link WiFi repeater gave more or less the same. Only on the first day, it had a glitch but I unplugged and plugged it back in and since then it has been very stable.
It goes without saying that these devices must be plugged directly into the socket, not into splitters or power strips. That's why if you don't have plenty of sockets, a passthrough device is definitely needed (meaning it provides the socket, it doesn't occupy it). In this model, the main device is passthrough, but the daughter device is not.
Because another daughter device was needed - but it had to be passthrough - to connect to a computer via Ethernet (so WiFi was not needed), the "TP-LINK TL-PA7017P v4" was also purchased. It's a different product. Since the powerline network was already set up, it didn't need anything. It was plugged into the socket and immediately provided perfect internet to the PC. So at any time, you can buy any single device (even if it's not the same model) and expand the network. The only requirement is that it supports the Homeplug AV and/or Homeplug AV2 protocol, which is true for the majority of TP-Link products currently available. I read somewhere that you can also use devices from other brands (e.g. Devolo, DLink), but I wouldn't try it.
It is questionable whether it can cover a large house. Probably not, I believe more devices are needed. It is also questionable whether it can work well in a multi-story house, as well as what exactly happens in a three-phase power supply.

Άριστο προϊόν.
Μιλάμε πάντα για το kit "TP-LINK TL-WPA4226KIT v5", το οποίο βέβαια στις ρυθμίσεις του αναγράφει (στην εφαρμογή tpPLC ή στο web interface) "TL-WPA4220 5.0".
- Αγοράστηκε για να δώσει αξιόπιστο και πιο σταθερό σήμα σε σπίτι 55 τ.μ. σχήματος Γ. Τα WiFi repeater έκαναν μεν δουλειά, αλλά δεν είναι τόσο σταθερά.
- Από ρυθμίσεις πολύ απλό, μόνο την 1η φορά χρειάστηκε να πατηθούν τα pair κουμπιά στη μητρική και τη θυγατρική συσκευή. Από WiFi καλύφθηκε όλο το σπίτι. Πολύ σταθερή σύνδεση, έγινε και firmware update.
Υπάρχουν κάποιες μικρές απώλειες ταχύτητας: σε σύνδεση 33 Mbps το θυγατρικό δίνει 29, όταν ένα dual band TP Link WiFi repeater έδινε πάνω κάτω τα ίδια. Μόνο την 1η μέρα είχε ένα κόλλημα αλλά το έβγαλα και το ξαναέβαλα στην πρίζα και από τότε είναι πολύ σταθερό.
Αυτονόητο ότι οι συσκευές αυτές οπωσδήποτε μπαίνουν απευθείας στην πρίζα, όχι σε διακλαδωτές και πολύπριζα. Γι'αυτό αν δεν έχετε αφθονία πριζών, χρειάζεται οπωσδήποτε passthrough συσκευή (να δίνει την πρίζα δηλαδή, να μην την καταλαμβάνει). Σε αυτό το μοντέλο, η μητρική συσκευή είναι passthrough, η θυγατρική όμως όχι.
Επειδή χρειαζόταν άλλη μία θυγατρική συσκευή -που όμως να είναι passthrough- για να συνδεθεί με ethernet σε υπολογιστή (άρα δεν χρειαζόταν WiFi), αγοράστηκε και το "TP-LINK TL-PA7017P v4". Άλλο προϊόν δηλαδή. Το οποίο, έχοντας ήδη φτιάξει το powerline δίκτυο, δεν χρειάστηκε τίποτα. Μπήκε στην πρίζα και αμέσως έδινε τέλειο internet στο PC. Άρα ανά πάσα στιγμή μπορείς να αγοράσεις οποιαδήποτε μονή συσκευή (και ας μην είναι το ίδιο μοντέλο) και να επεκτείνεις το δίκτυο. Μόνη προϋπόθεση να υποστηρίζει το πρωτόκολλο Homeplug AV ή/και το Homeplug AV2, κάτι το οποίο ισχύει για τη μεγάλη πλειοψηφία των προϊόντων της TP-Link που κυκλοφορούν πλέον. Κάπου διάβασα ότι μπορείς να βάλεις και από άλλες μάρκες (π.χ. Devolo, DLink), δεν θα το δοκίμαζα όμως.
Ερωτηματικό είναι το αν μπορεί να καλυφθεί ένα μεγάλο σπίτι. Μάλλον όχι, χρειάζονται πιστεύω περισσότερες συσκευές. Επίσης ερωτηματικό είναι το αν μπορεί να λειτουργήσει καλά σε σπίτι με ορόφους, όπως και το τί ακριβώς συμβαίνει σε τριφασικό ρεύμα.
It does exactly what it promises. It has an easy installation, but for someone unfamiliar with technology, if something goes wrong, I believe they will have a hard time with the settings. It connects with other Powerline devices from the same company and is easily managed through an application (android and pc). With a software update, it had a significant increase in performance. Depending on the room, wiring, and distance, its performance may vary. Overall, for its price and the internet speeds we currently have in Greece, it's great.
Κάνει ακριβώς αυτό που υπόσχεται. Έχει εύκολη εγκατάσταση αλλά για κάποιον μη εξοικιωμένο με την τεχνολογία, αν κάτι πάει στραβά πιστεύω θα τα βρει σκούρα στις ρυθμίσεις. Συνδέεται μαζί με άλλα Powerline της ίδιας εταιρίας και διαχειρίζεται πολύ εύκολα μέσω εφαρμογής(android Και pc). Με update στο λογισμικό του είχε σημαντική αύξηση απόδοσης. Ανάλογα το δωμάτιο, την καλωδίωση και την απόσταση διαφέρει η απόδοσή του. Γενικά για τα χρήματά του και για τις ταχύτητες Internet Που έχουμε μέχρι στιγμής στην Ελλάδα είναι μια χαρά.
Not even 1 year later (11 months), suddenly instead of getting 30mbps, I started getting 9 without any reason. And it definitely isn't a problem with my line because another computer directly connected to the router has no internet issues.
Ούτε 1 χρόνο μετά (11 μήνες), ξαφνικά αντί για 30mbps που έπιανα, άρχισα να πιάνω 9 χωρίς κανέναν λόγω. Και σίγουρα δεν είναι θέμα της γραμμής μου γιατί άλλος υπολογιστής συνδεδεμένος απευθείας στο ρούτερ δεν έχει κανένα θέμα με το ίντερνετ.
Both this kit and two other tl-wpa4220 v4 were installed to replicate the SSID of the router in a guesthouse in order to have sufficient signal in all rooms.
So far, so good. I followed the instructions and set everything up as needed. Everything is working perfectly. I will provide feedback from the owner after the season...
Εγκαταστάθηκαν τόσο αυτό το kit όσο και άλλα δύο tl-wpa4220 v4 σε αναπαραγωγή του SSID του router σε πανσιόν για να υπάρχει επαρκές σήμα σε όλα τα δωμάτια.
Μέχρι στιγμής όλα καλά. Ακολούθησα τις οδηγίες και τα έστησα όπως έπρεπε. Όλα δουλεύουν κομπλέ. Θα επανέλθω μετά τη σεζόν με τα σχόλια του ιδιοκτήτη...

Perfect. However, be careful as it may have issues if you plug it into a power strip. The main end that I plugged into a power strip with a safety fuse worked fine, but the other end that I plugged into a power strip randomly disconnected as soon as I connected my PC to another socket.
I confirm that it works on a 3-phase system with different phases. Its WiFi is quite strong (stronger than an average Cosmote speedport router). It's worth every penny!
Αψογο. Προσοχή ομως, παιζει να έχει θεματα αμα το βαλετε σε πολυμπριζο. Την βασικη ακρη που την εβαλα σε πολυμπριζο ασφαλειας επαιξε κανονικα αλλα την αλλη ακρη που την εβαλα σε πολυμπριζο οτι ναναι (ταφακι) με το που συνεδεα pc πανω σε αλλη υποδοχη αποσυχρονιζε.
Επιβεβαιωνω ότι παιζει σε 3φασικο σε διαφορετικες φασεις. Το wifi του αρκετα δυνατο (πιο δυνατο απο ενος μεσου ρουτερ speedport της Cosmote). Αξίζει όλα τα λεφτα!
I have it here for two months. While the socket worked perfectly, the Wi-Fi device had many issues with signal loss or low power. Without an upgrade to a 100 Mbps line, you won't have a good and stable signal. And I'm not referring to a two-story house, maisonette, stairs, basement, etc., but to a regular apartment. Anyway, does the connection not have interruptions and then, after the line upgrade, I have a satisfactory signal in all rooms (as long as not 5 devices are connected simultaneously...)?
Το έχω εδώ και δύο μήνες. Ενώ η πρίζα λειτούργησε άψογα, η συσκευή wi fi είχε πολλά θέματα απώλειας ή χαμηλής ισχύς του σήματος. Χωρίς αναβάθμιση σε 100άρα γραμμή δεν πρόκειται να έχετε καλό και σταθερό σήμα. Και δεν αναφέρομαι σε διόρωφο σπίτι, μεζονέτα, σκάλες, υπόγεια κλπ, αλλά σε κανονικό διαμέρισμα. Πάντως η σύνδεση δεν κάνει διακοπές και μετά; την αναβάθμιση της γραμμής έχω ικανοποιητικό σήμα σε όλα τα δωμάτια (αρκέι να μην είναι συνδεδεμένες 5 συσκευές ταυτοχρόνως...)
Very good, easy to install (powerlines do not work in power strips, so you need to use a suko to plug it in there).. I have had it for 1 year and it has served me well.. I face issues when I overload it with devices like 2 mobile phones, a PC, and my Xiaomi TV box, it disconnects sometimes, which is understandable considering its technology.
Πολύ καλό εύκολο στην εγκατάσταση(τα powerline δεν δουλεύουν σε πολυμπριζο για αυτό παίρνεις με suko για να μπει εκεί το πολυμπριζο)..το έχω 1 χρόνο με έχει βγάλει άσπροπρόσωπο .. αντιμετωπίζω θέμα όταν το μπουκωνω με συσκευές όπως 2 κινητά pc και Xiaomi tvbox μου κάνει αποσύνδεση κάποιες φορές πράμα λογικό για την τεχνολογία του..
Excellent! It connected immediately just by pairing the two devices... with a distance of 20 meters and 3 walls in between (router/adapter and extender), I get a strong signal in my room.
In the network (100 Mbps), I have connected: a smart TV, 2 laptops, 3 mobile phones, and a desktop PC playing an online FPS game with a stable ping of 55ms.

Εξαιρετικό! Συνδέθηκε αμέσως μόνο με pairing τις δυο συσκευες.. με απόσταση 20 μέτρα και 3 τοίχους στο ενδιάμεσο (router/adapter και extender) πιάνω σήμα καμπάνα στο δωμάτιο μου.
Στο δίκτυο (100αρα) είναι συνδεδεμένα: μία smart TV, 2 laptop, 3 κινητα τηλ και σταθερό pc που παίζει online fps game και το ms ειναι σταθερο στο 55ms.

I had a 50 Mbps internet connection and I could barely reach 12 Mbps.
I made the mistake out of ignorance and initially plugged it into a power strip.
I run the test, it shows 10.5 Mbps.
I felt like crying because I thought it was another failed purchase to increase the speed.
I realize what I have done, I change the plug and directly connect it to the wall.
I start running the test. And it shows a speed of 49 Mbps.
I had never seen such speed even though I paid for it for a year.
I kept my hopes low in case it drops again in the next few days, but no, it works fine, I would say even better than before, as I have seen it go up to 55-60 Mbps.
It has disconnected 2 or 3 times in a quarter.
Which I don't consider very serious, as before the disconnections were 2-3 per hour.
The truth is, I have been reading about powerline for years and I thought they were exaggerating, that's why I was hesitant to spend money to buy one. However, I was wrong.
Only one "drawback", which is not serious.
After a power outage, all the LEDs turn on and because it's in a bedroom, I have to turn them off from the app. A funny drawback, really.
One of the most value for money purchases I have made.
Είχα 50αρα γραμμή και έπιανα με το ζόρι 12.
Έκανα το λάθος από αφηρημάδα και αρχικά το έβαλα σε πολύμπριζο.
Κανω το τεστ, βγαζει 10,5.
Μου ήρθε να βάλω τα κλάματα γιατί λέω άλλη μία αποτυχημένη αγορά για να ανεβάσω την ταχύτητα.
Συνειδητοποιώ τι έχω κάνει, αλλάζω πρίζα και το βάζω απευθείας στον τοίχο.
Ξεκινάω να κάνω το τεστ. Και δείχνει ταχύτητα 49.
Δεν είχα ξαναδεί τέτοια ταχύτητα παρόλο που την πλήρωνα ένα χρόνο.
Κράτησα μικρό καλάθι μήπως τις επόμενες μέρες πέσει ξανά, αλλά όχι, λειτουργεί κανονικά μην σας πω και καλύτερα από την αρχή μιας και έχω δει να ανεβαίνει και στο 55-60.
Αποσυνδέσεις μου έχει κάνει 2 ή 3 φορές μεσα σε ένα τρίμηνο.
Πράγμα που δεν το θεωρώ πολύ σοβαρό, καθώς πριν οι αποσυνδέσεις ήταν 2-3 την ώρα.
Η αλήθεια είναι ότι χρόνια τώρα διάβαζα για τα powerline και νόμιζα ότι ήταν υπερβολικοί και γι αυτό ήμουν διστακτική να δώσω χρήματα για να αγοράσω ένα. Ωστόσο έκανα λάθος.
Ένα "μειονέκτημα" μόνο, το οποίο δεν είναι σοβαρό.
Μετά από διακοπή ρεύματος, ανάβουν όλα τα Ledακια και επειδή είναι σε υπνοδωμάτιο πρέπει να τα σβήνω από την εφαρμογή. Αστείο μειονέκτημα, πραγματικά.
Από τις πλέον value for money αγορές που έχω κάνει.
Very good and reliable product, but unfortunately it can easily become dysfunctional due to other factors.
My experience is sufficient since I have purchased two such sets (in different houses, on different floors) and I can say that they now function consistently and flawlessly. Many report disconnections and they are right. What I have noticed is that in most cases, the disconnections are due to user errors or issues with the electrical system of the house.
1. These two devices should be plugged directly into the socket, without using any other power strips, etc.
2. You should try different sockets because it doesn't work perfectly in every case. For example, in my case, when I plugged it into an "external" wall socket, it would disconnect every two hours. Eventually, it turned out that the issue was with the specific wall because it had recently been exposed to a lot of moisture. When I plugged it into another socket in the same room (but this time an internal wall), it worked perfectly without any disconnections.
3. In the case of different floors, the two devices should be placed as close to each other as possible from a vertical perspective, not one at the bottom end of the house and the other at the top end.
4. It is logical for some disconnections to occur less frequently, so restarting once a week helps.
5. If the disconnection problem persists, what others suggest here regarding the firmware might help. In my case, I never needed anything like that.
Overall, it is a set that has successfully solved my coverage and internet speed problem. Stability, maximum speed, and high range.
Πολύ καλό και αξιόπιστο προϊόμ, αλλά δυστυχώς εύκολα μπορεί να γίνει δυσλειτουργικό εξαιτίας άλλων παραγόντων.
Η εμπειρία μου είναι αρκετή αφού έχω πάρει δύο τέτοια σετ (σε διαφορετικά σπίτια, σε διαφορετικούς ορόφους) και μπορώ να πω ότι πλέον λειτουργούν σταθερά και άψογα. Πολλοί αναφέρουν αποσυνδέσεις κι έχουν δίκιο. Αυτό που είδα εγώ είναι ότι στις περισσότερες των περιπτώσεων οι αποσυνδέσεις οφείλονται σε λάθη του χρήστη ή του ηλεκτρικού συστήματος του σπιτιού.
1. Πρέπει αυτές οι δύο συσκευές να πηγαίνουν απευθείας στην πρίζα, χωρίς να μεσολαβούν άλλα πολύπριζα κλπ.
2. Πρέπει να δοκιμάζετε διάφορες πρίζες γιατί δεν λειτουργεί τέλεια σε κάθε περίπτωση. Ας πούμε στην δική μου, όταν το έβαλα σε πρίζα "εξωτερικού" τοίχου, αποσυνδεόταν κάθε δύο ώρες. Τελικά έφταιγε το σημείο γιατί ήταν τοίχος που είχε δεχτεί πολλή υγρασία πρόσφατα. Όταν το έβαλα σε άλλη πρίζα στο ίδιο δωμάτιο (αλλά αυτή τη φορα εσωτερικός τοίχος) δούλευε άψογα, χωρίς αποσυνδέσεις.
3. Σε περίπτωση διαφορετικών ορόφων, πρέπει οι δύο συσκευές να είναι όσο πιο κοντα γίνεται από κατακόρυφης άποψης, όχι η μία στην μία κάτω άκρη του σπιτιού και η δεύτερη στην άλλη πάνω άκρη του σπιτιού.
4. Είναι λογικό να κάνει πιο αραιά κάποιες αποσυνδέσεις, για αυτό μία π.χ. φορά την εβδομάδα μία επανεκκίνηση βοηθάει.
5. Αν πάλι παραμένει το πρόβλημα των αποσυνδέσεων, αυτά που προτείνουν άλλοι εδώ για το firmware ίσως βοηθήσουν. Στην περίπτωσή μου δεν χρειάστηκε ποτέ τίποτα τέτοιο.
Γενικά, είναι ένα σετ που μου έχει λύσει το πρόβλημα κάλυψης και ταχύτητας ίντερνετ με απόλυτη επιτυχία. Σταθερότητα, μέγιστη ταχύτητα, και υψηλή εμβέλεια.

Αγορά για βελτίωση του σήματος Wi-Fi σε δύο ανεξάρτητες οικίες σε απόσταση 10 μ. Με 3 παρεμβαλλόμενους τοίχους. Συνδεδεμένες στο ίδιο δίκτυο ΔΕΗ, - πρόγραμμα ρούτερ 50 mbps-, απώλειες σημαντικές, αλλά επιτέλους έχω ένδειξη WiFi γύρω στα 16-20 αν και αναγκάστηκα να το συνδέσω σε Πολύμπριζο. Στον ίδιο χώρο έχω και extenter της tp link, (δεν ξέρω αν βοηθά).
