The Trendnet TK-1603R KVM switch controls up to 16 computers or servers with one keyboard, one mouse, and one monitor. It supports a VGA monitor connection, accepts a USB or PS/2 keyboard and mouse on the console side, and connects to computers via USB.

Switching is done using hotkeys or buttons, while automatic scanning has an adjustable interval of 10–99 seconds. It restores the keyboard state when switching and provides LED indicators and an audible confirmation. It is plug-and-play and hot-pluggable, supports software updates through the PC port, and fits in a 19″ (1U) rack.
