Very carefully made and sturdy construction, although with one or two design flaws. I use it with a brush and a shaving machine from another brand (FEATHER), which fit perfectly.
Also, I have never received such perfectly packaged item before! Inside a luxurious hard cardboard box, wrapped in special paper for protection against shipping damage. In addition, the store I ordered it from (...) also had its own packaging (with a properly sized box and bubble wrap)!
Now, the negatives: first, its base has velvet, a material that would protect the finish of a bedroom piece of furniture, but it is not the most sensible choice for a bathroom, where there will inevitably be water. Second, the shiny chrome is also not the best choice, as it accumulates limescale and fingerprints; I would prefer a matte surface, but there is none available.
I photographed it in the sink (to avoid the reflection) and not on the mirror shelf where I have placed it.
