The machine is great. It's worth its money. Very good for learning. Before you start working with it, you should - as a preparation - watch some videos on YouTube (see for example user ann10's comment) about its operation and the resolution of technical problems that may arise (as with sewing machines of all classes). It's the first time I'm using a sewing machine and I managed to sew 4 layers of denim fabric (!) with its size 14 needle on the first try. The two main secrets are: a) to make the first stitch manually and b) to achieve the correct tension of the thread by doing tests before the final sewing. Those who criticize it simply didn't dedicate time to deal with the machine. In case of damage, there are dozens of videos (mainly from Asian countries) for easy repair. I bought the product through Skroutz. Very poor quality and selection. The first one arrived defective. They replaced it immediately but this one is also defective. Nothing works.

I struggled to sew a couple of times, the pedal didn't work on its own and I had to manually turn the needle, and it broke.

It is perfect for its price! I use it quite often and despite the rough handling, the stitches are comparable to a much more expensive sewing machine!
