See full descriptionI have 3 traps (for 1 year now) and they work satisfactorily. Placed in the garden in a shady spot that doesn't get much wind, each one catches 4-5 mosquitoes per day (area of Filothei / Athens).
Like everything, they do not completely solve the mosquito problem, but they mitigate it. They require a bit of maintenance (changing the sticky tape + water every ~ 2 weeks). The best part is that they do not catch other insects besides mosquitoes, so they do not cause ecological damage like other methods, and they do not require electricity / do not break down, etc. etc
Έχω 3 παγίδες (εδώ και 1 χρόνο) και λειτουργούν ικανοποιητικά. Τοποθετημένες στον κήπο σε σκιερό μέρος που δεν το πιάνει πολύ ο αέρας, πιάνουν 4-5 κουνούπια η κάθε μια / ημέρα (περιοχή Φιλοθέη / Αθήνα ).
Όπως όλα, δεν λύνουν το πρόβλημα των κουνουπιών πλήρως, αλλά το μετριάζουν. Θέλουν λίγη συντήρηση (αλλαγή κολλητικής ταινίας + νερού κάθε ~ 2 εβδομάδες ). Το καλύτερο όλων είναι ότι δεν πιάνουν άλλα έντομα πέρα από κουνούπια, οπότε κ δεν κάνουν οικολογική ζημιά όπως άλλες μέθοδοι, κ δεν θέλουν ρεύμα / δεν παθαίνουν βλάβες κτλ κτλ
