It is characterized by its medium(-) intensity ruby color, with brick hints as the wine ‘loads’ years behind it.
Plum and wild cherry along with dried flowers on the nose, in the foreground, are supported by some spicy, peppery aromas and several doses of barrel expressed through spicy oak aromas.
On the palate, the wine is relatively intense, with acidity and tannins causing bursts, though the fruit and alcohol ultimately manage to balance these two ‘extreme’ elements that the variety has as its characteristics.
On the wine’s aftertaste, the initial fresh fruit is followed by the barrel sensation and nutty elements.
