Ok it's fine but not really impressive. It's not an axe but something between heavy, wedge, and axe.
Don't expect to hit the log and split it like butter because it's much wider than a regular axe.
There are some small dry wedges, 50x30, without knots that split easily. But it's rare.
I used it on difficult thick logs, 70x35 pine, and it worked well.
In the end, I use it like this.
I hit one wedge firmly into the log's joint and then hit it with another heavy one on the back flat side until the log splits. Always on another wide and stable log.
I also see it as a workout so I didn't mind that it didn't match what many describe in reality.
PS: Safety glasses are definitely necessary during use.
