    I bought this straight sander AEG. The sander is under warranty, it works on a CNC machine cutting EVA material (very fine grain). In the 6th month, it started losing speed, so I sent it for repair or warranty replacement. The technician from the official dealership (very polite and correct in his behavior) informed me that the warranty does NOT cover it because the bearing broke due to usage (abrasion of the fine EVA grain inside the sander, resulting in its damage, and that it is not due to a defect or failure of the sander). I asked them if there is any indication in the user manual about the use of this material or any instruction to clean the sander occasionally. There is no such recommendation. So, if I buy a car and use it, and the wheel bearing breaks because I drove through puddles, will they tell me that the warranty does not cover it? I consider the attitude of the mother company (AEG) to not cover such damages unacceptable. The replacement costs only 20 euros, but the issue is not economic, it is about having proper support in my opinion. It goes without saying that I have just lost a customer, and another 10-20 customers that I will share my story with. I emphasize that the staff was very polite, and I understand that this issue probably stems from the instructions given by AEG to the local representative who does not cover it. In conclusion... NEVER BUY AEG!
