It does what it says, but unfortunately it blocks the highest position of the windshield, so it can't go all the way up.
This is not mentioned anywhere. Also, there are no installation instructions at all. It's just 2 screws and there is no other place for it to fit, so the lack of instructions isn't a major issue.
