Genuine product from the company Grohe, expensive for 55 euros. For me, the battery lasted about 16 years, now it started to develop a problem, becoming stiff and creaking. It didn't leak. I took it out a bit, cleaned it, put some vaseline, and it started working, but not very well. It tightened and continued to creak. I decided to replace it. What you need to pay attention to is the code; it must be 46 048, only that counts to get the right one. If your battery has another number, because there is also another one that starts with four, that one didn't work for me. I highly recommend it. The only difference is that I changed the plastic part that snaps onto the handle. Although there are two spare parts inside, neither of them fit; I only used the old one, which doesn't cause any problems. Even if you used one of its own, it would still do the job
