The Batman TV series Batmobile first appeared in 1966 on a television series. It was a prototype model of Ford, the Lincoln Futura. The sleek design of the car was crafted by the Italian company Ghia.

With a bulletproof windshield, the Batmobile was equipped with many essentials for combating crime, such as:

  • Chain cutter in front
  • Laser
  • Rockets
  • Telephone
  • Radar
  • Computer
  • Police beacon
  • Siren
